So we're watching this show about deep sea marine life, and there's some seriously scary stuff 3000 feet below sea level. Like monstrous, nightmarish stuff. Fish that can open their mouths to an aperture about twice the size of their bodies, but they can close their mouths or their teeth would pierce their brains. That kind of stuff. *shudder*

You know what I love? A platypus. Explain that one.

Explain the Chiuwawa (I know I just destroyed that spelling);
"Let there be a rat that barks and jumps..."
Take care,

More men have orbited the Earth and been to the moon than have explored the deepest parts of the sea. I am continually fascinated by the extraordinary forms of life marine biologists catalog on an almost weekly basis from sites like the Mariana Trench. Anybody watch the news about the frilled shark found recently near Japan? It's a scary looking fish.

Dwells 120-1200m below the surface, recently found it's way to catching level, alive, which is rare...They brought it into captivity, but it died a couple hours thereafter...Can't remember if they said how big it was (EDIT: about 6ft long)...
And yes, I read about it... ;D
Thanks though, I didn't want to go through all the researchy stuff, so if I left something out, feel free to right me....
