Seriously though, I'm sure her family will sue the radio station and get a settlement, but I think the woman is 100% to blame. Nobody held a gun to her head to join the contest.

Well it's not the radio stations fault. That's like telling me I'll win a Wii the longer I hold a lighter to my hand. If I get 3rd degree burns, that's my own fault.

As long as the radio station had all the contestants sign a very detailed release they should be fine. If not, they're screwed. Either way, her family will sue and the radio station will settle.

I am sure that after that one couple was arrested for having sex in Saint Patrick' s Cathedral for a radio contest, which led to the subsequent firing of the two DJs, most stations would be smarter and devekop a contract.
I find it amusing that not many people know that water can harm you like this. Like anything taken not taken in moderation, it can throw off the chemical balance of the body and do serious damage.

wow i didnt know that turkish.i know that if you've been in the dessert for more then 1 day and then find water.you're supposeed to drink it slowly a sip at a time.this is true btw ask anybody who lives in the desert sometime.of course with the stuff radios stations do to get listeners.i'm surprised they didn't make her sign a form freeing them from blame.

this is true btw ask anybody who lives in the dessert sometime. I sometimes live in the dessert. Last night I was living in a pint of Bryer's ice cream. Sometime I live in a nice batch of Cold Stone Ice Cream while still other times I prefer a good carrot cake. |

Mike Tyson used to have that problem all the time....I think he wanted some cookies and cream whenever he was cutting a promo on Cold Stone Steve Austin.
I had my first Cold Stone Creamery experience in Hawaii a few years ago, because one was right next to our hotel. Then I find out there is one like, 10 minutes from my house.
Good stuff.

The radio station fired 10 employees yesterday.
Apparently they were joking about the college guy who died from water intoxication a year or two ago, as the contest was happening. One of the contestants said he thought they were just messing with his head. He hadn't heard of the previous death.
Looks like contract or not, the station is toast.

Every time she does it I am forced to give her a stunner. The German Chocolate Cake icecream is like pure crack. I want to try another flavor, but I can't not get this whenever I go. |

whats strange to me is her last name ...Strange.....her fault there is a limit to how far one should go.there was alot of things i would be worried about for this contest that deals with the blatterys and such.she should of known better but i am sorry to hear about an death.

great answer blame Swarm . NO ! seriously the radio station , why hold such stupid competitions as that ? . Personally I find (some days) that water (so refreshing) is the best drink of the day .
