Hi all,
I want to get a little something small for the 10 people I work with in the bakery. Since we all get a little stressed out, especially at this time of year, I thought of some kind of stress-relief. Of course, since this is me we're talking about, it can't be meditation balls or "Don't Sweat..." books. I've seen little mallets or clubs that you hit something with when you're stressed. Barnes and Noble has them for $7 each, which is a little pricey for 10 people. Has anyone seen cheaper versions of these?
Any ideas would be helpful.
Thanks in advance!
Take care,
Jay

No I haven't, DMK. What is it?
Swarm, good idea, but we dropped our ebay account after some bad experiences over DVD's that didn't work. I think some comments my fiancee made to the people there might prevent us from returning soon.

Jay They are basically these little dolls that you can slam around, and while you're slamming them against things you scream "Damnit!". I don't know where you'd get one of these, but I used to have one curtosey of my Grandma.

Thanks, DMK, I'll keep an eye out.
Yeah, Swarm, that's why nothing you say really surprises me. I deal with it every day here.
Take care,
Jay

I couldn't find anything in my price range (for 11 people) so we just bought candles and candy. For my boss, I did buy a stress relief kid that comes with a boxing glove. Amazon had the Whomp-It mallets for $3-$4, but used, and I'm not buying someone a used gift.
Thanks for all the ideas though.
Take care,
Jay

The other day I was having a stressful day at work (cook) and threw a 3oz. cup of ranch at someone. Felt pretty good

Everyone's dream, Sickman.
Like CakeJedi, I work in a bakery (though I'm sure he's got more experience than I do), and once I got so stressed, I had a dream I threw a hot pie at an old lady's face. When she screamed, "It burns! It burns!" I grabbed a frozen pie an threw it at her.
I woke up feeling pretty good.
Take care,
Jay
