Anyone see in the news in Brazil . A cat had mated with a dog (the owners knew about it and never stopped it) and given birth . It had kittens and puppies . The kittens died , but the puppies lived . Freaky or what ?

This is clearly a hoax. Different species cannot cross-breed. If they could I would be at the zoo creating an army of Animen to take over the world.

I just saw this and have to back up Goodzilla's analysis. Granted, I went to school for art...but I did have to take Biology and I'm 99.99999999999% sure this isn't possible. Like GZ says, we'd have a zoo full of half Giraffes/half penguins, etc. Funny story though....probably something you'd see in the Weekly World News! (like those old BatBoys pictures!) Would be fun to photoshop a half dog/half cat though..lol |

the chromosome issues alone make it impossible. (I don't remember the exacts but I think it's 32 for dogs but 78 for cats)

I excpected this article to be right next to the one on aliens being responsible for disco and Hulk Hogan (all the more reason to shoot them down before they return).
