Please don't ask how or why (because I don't know) . We got talking about Brooklyn . I said "What is Brooklyn famous for ?" . After the Brooklyn bridge , the WWF wrestler Brooklyn Brawler (who probably wasn't even from Brooklyn) and soccer star David Backham 1st son was named "Brooklyn" What else is Brooklyn famous for ? (Ps I am NOT making fun of Brooklyn by asking this question . Been from UK I was just wondering)

Never been beyond Manhattan in NYC (and even then only twice), but I just read an article about Brooklyn in Travel and Leisure magazine. Here's the link: www.travelandleisure.com/articles/brooklyn-boundI don't know if it will answer your question, but maybe you'll learn as much as I did.

On that subject of Brooklyn, a friend of mine who used to live in and around NYC has stated that Domino's "Brooklyn Style PIzza" is a mockery of the name. We ordered one last night and she was most disappointed.

That Dominoes "Brooklyn" style pizza is an insult to actual New York style pizza

I'm a Chicago-style guy myself.
And this all may mean next to nothing across the pond to Bazzy.

I think you guys got the high points of Brooklyn: Nathan's, Coney Island, Dodgers and pizza (best in all of NY). They also have the best bagels in all of New York (and therefore the country).
I grew up in New York (OK, Long Island, but close enough) so I had been spoiled by good pizza, and was throughly disappointed when I moved to DC and ate what they try to pass off as pizza.
When I think of pizza I think of NY style, but I certainly love Chicago style and California style. I just don't like that thin crust crap from St Louis.

Chicago is deep dish, New york is thinner and bigger slices.
