I just got done talking to Neil a few hours ago and he did not talk about leaving the board or anything like that so I am assuming it must have been an accident.

He deleted his account on the other board as well.
He sent me a PM an hour ago and it didn't say anything.

This is really odd. I tried sending a PM to Neil on the other board that we are both members of and he is now just listed as a guest over there too.
I talked to Neil both last night, briefly this morning, and this afternoon and he talked about things such as upcoming developments in his Legends fed and not at all about leaving. I hope Neil is OK.

Yeah, that PM I got from him was like at 721 P.M. tonight....but I could tell his account was not activated due to his screen name being in white letters.
Hope things are well..he's a good guy

It'll only take him a month to hit 2000 posts again, don't worry...

If someone could find out what's up that'd be great....

Burning out I totally get.
But deleting your account I'll never understand. It implies that you're never coming back, but that has rarely been the case.
Take the time off if you feel you need it; your account will be fine while you're away. I don't cull inactive accounts with over 25 posts.
