This isn't meant as an insult to who found the wrestling slang dictionary, but this is almost as bad as the hip-hop dictionary or thesarus for those who want to rap but can't put words together. Seriously, if a person needs a dictionary to use slang, then he should probably just stick to using regular, everyday words. There's nothing cornier sounding than hearing someone who has never been any closer to a wrestling ring than a ringside ticket will get him talking about someone "doing the honors." I gotta disagree with my boy here. Not everyone can know EVERY single slang word there is, as it evolves so fast nowadays. I didn't know some of these terms and I've been a wrestling fan since I was 8. I look up words I hear on TV and then I use some of them and they become a part of my vernacular - but I know where you're coming from, Joe. So, if someone has to use a hip-hop dictionary or the pro-wrestling dictionary, as long as they are educating themselves -- I don't see anything wrong with it.

I've decided to start using as many of these terms as I can. . . But the catch is, I will only use them incorrectly. For example, I will refer to Little Rey-Rey as a lunch wagon and D-X as the Meat Squad.

Truthfully, I didn't know hardly any of the words in the dictionary except the really obvious ones that are used all the time, like face and heel, and I've been a fan for years. I'm with you about people educating themselves, and I'm all for it, too. It's just when it comes to stuff like this, it seems most of the people just use them in a fake manner. It's not the use of words that bothers me. It's when some clown who's never seen the inside of the locker room pawns himself off as a wreslting insider or someone in the know by peppering his thoughts with terms he picked up from an on-line how-to guide.

Yeah, I knew that's what you meant. I agree!
