Marufuji done the Pole Shift (Wrist Clutch Fisherman's Driver) on Morishima? Wow.
I actually want Marufuji to beat Misawa. As much I'd love to see Misawa and Joe trade stiff shots at each other, Marufuji deserves another chance to carry the GHC title. Plus beating Misawa should be a nice step into solidifying himself as a top player.

Plus beating Misawa should be a nice step into solidifying himself as a top player. It was quite unfair how they played Marufuji's title reign off. He had TWO defenses. One in America, that was called the best match of the night at Glory By Honor 2 (And actually, looking back, probably was.), and one match with KENTA that drew piss-poor in the Budokan. Now had they put him against a bigger name, like...gee I don't know, TAUE? Then his reign wouldn't have been such a flop. That being said, Misawa is beating him, Joe and then losing to Kobashi when Big Daddy K feels the time is right to come back, which is not too far away.

That Budokan card was also TERRIBLE. Along with the junior/junior main event I don't know who thought that would draw. Oh. Misawa. But he's freakin' brain-dead. Seriously, NOAH's booking will give you a headache.
I hope Naomichi takes it and gets another chance to carry the promotion.

Yeah, that card was total ass, I honestly firmly believe Misawa booked that as bad as possible just as his way of going, "See? Youngsters can't draw as champions. HASBEENS FOR LIFE."

You think... that Misawa booked a card to not make money? And to put down the future stars of the company? You know Misawa OWNS Pro Wrestling NOAH, right? Saying that he is so egotistical he would jeopardize the future of his company is ludicrous.

Seriously, look at the 9/9/06 Budokan card as opposed to the 10/27/06 card and tell me that it doesn't look like Misawa was trying to prove that Maru/KENTA couldn't draw in the main event.

The crowd gave a good pop when Samoa Joe's debut was announced.
