Don't know how many of you knew about this, and it is kind of old news, but Kenta Kobashi was discovered to have a tumor in his kidney during a routine medical examination on June 19, 2006, however on July 7, surgery was able to successfully remove the tumor without it spreading to other organs.

Kobashi was released from the hospital on the 27th and is determined to rehabilitate and get back to the ring as soon as he can.

Definitely wish Kobashi well, and hope he's able to have a full and speedy recovery. The NOAH ring won't be the same without him in it.

I hope so. I have only seen a few of Kobashi's matches but they have all been good.
