I was just wondering if either Big Japan or IWA Japan were still around. I sorta fell away from the Japanese garbage scene when FMW folded and was just curious as to whether anybody knew if either of these feds still existed.
Yeah, I have no taste in wrestling. I like the bloody violent stuff.:-)

I am pretty sure that both are still around. I don't follow Japanese wrestling a ton much less the hardcore stuff but I see dvds all over the net with Big Japan. I know Mike Rotundo wrestled his last match a few years ago for IWA Japan so that is why I think it is still around. check these sites www.ivpvideos.comwww.slambamjam.comwww.purodvdsource.comThose are probably the best sites for Japanese wrestling on the net. They are pretty inexpensive too.

Both are still around. BJW still does strong in the Kanagawa region, running a lot of death matches. IWA Japan has moved away from garbage wrestling, and mix in more theatrics and entertainment.

yeah, I had read somewhere that after Goto left the IWA toned down its style a lot. I know IWA Peurto Rico still runs death matches.
Quick question. Does anybody know of any other garbage style promotions in Japan other then BJPW? Just curious.

Kintaro Kanemura runs Apache Pro-Wrestling, which occasionally has street fights. Mr. Gannosuke also runs WMF (Wrestling Marvelous Future), which I believe runs garbage matches on occasion.
