Cleary, enough people don't know about this site, which is basically Mythbusters (a show I love dearly) for the internet. I think I've finally educated most of my family to check here before forwarding crap to me, but I figure spreading the word couldn't hurt. www.snopes.com

That and any virus protection website like McAfee or Norton to check for hoaxes about things that allegedly make your computer go buggy. I'm all about the checking-before-forwarding. Wish some of my wife's friends were, too!

Snopes actually has an entire section devoted to Virus hoaxes, but I agree that Norton/McAfee/whatever's site is probably a good place to check too.

Snopes is definitely a cool site. I have learned many interesting things visiting there.
