I just started my Early Classics fed tonight, and I decided to hold a tournament that will span a couple months to determine a champion. One of the first matches in the tournament:
Blacklash v Omega
The two powerhouses go back and forth until Omega drills him with the Tomahawk Thrust. Blacklash rolls Snake Eyes which equals instant injury in my feds if it is rolled following a finisher.
Blacklash injured 2 cards for a busted jaw.
I roll on the feud table, and find Bullwhip rushing down to help his partner out. The two double team Omega, hitting Rustler's Stampede three times in a row!
Omega injured 6 Cards for broken ribs and a ruptured lung.
I try to let feuds build on their own instead of pushing to meet the biographies in the book, but these guys must really hate each other! I bet Dorado Sundown had this planned for poor Omega from the moment they were stuffed into the envelope in Jamestown last week!
Do you typically find the dice mirroring the stories of the characters in your feds? They are certainly not lying in mine!

Sometimes those dice will be your worst enemy, derailing carefully planned storylines and ending main event matches in 2 moves...
But when they help you out, and help shape the story Tom wrote, or the feuds you've created...it's magic.

Always remember...it is YOUR fed. The feuds outlined in the book are what Tom's vision set into motion from results happening in HIS fed. If you results are different that is great. Whatever gets your creative energy flowing is fantastic! Keep rolling those dice and let them determine your storylines...its works well.

It doesn't always work, but it has recently for me.
