Just curious to know what other people are thinking. I was really into the 1980s NWA and early 1990s cornicopia of wrestling.

I still think the 80's. True, the monday night wars were great, but half a decade there was poor. 97-2000 was my favorite in the WWE, but what precedeed it was so weak.

I voted for 1990-2000.
During the first part of the decade American wrestling wasn't so great, but AJPW was arguably the greatest wrestling promotion ever. At the tail end of 1994 ECW began to be ECW and after that we began to get the Monday Night Wars.
You also had the great SMW running in the early 90s which was one of the top five American wrestling federations of the decade.
Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Steve Austin, and The Undertaker had their primes and Ric Flair and Randy Savage were still able to put on the working boots at any time. American wrestling workrate was at high it hadn't seen since the 70s while in Japan and Mexico stars were being built that would expierence great success not only at home but in America as well.

I voted for 2000 to present. I miss the characters of the 80s, but Im enjoying wrestling more now than ever.

I'm really torn on this....I particularly dug the AWA and WWF of the 80's, and its unique personas and fun (pre-attitude) themes. But then when WCW hit #1 on the waves of the nWo in its prime, I simply did NOT miss a Nitro back then. I think I'll give the 80s a slight edge overall though.
The "Attitude" era in WWF irritated me so much that, after the WCW waned, I stopped watching wrestling altogether until last year. Even now, as much as I look forward to wrestling (yes, even TNA most of the time), I don't know if I would have gotten into itagain if not for DVR. There's still a lot that I fast-forward through.

Since that's what got me hooked, I'm voting 80s, with the 90s a close second followed by the 70s.

I really liked the Monday Night Wars of the 1990s, but I decided to vote for the 1980s.

I picked the 80's.
Because for most of the decade I still thought it was real.

2000 to the present. Looke beyond WWE and TNA and there is a treasure of wrestling to be found around the world. ROH, Chikara, PWG, NOAH, Dragon Gate, a few decent UK promotions and some Lucha to boot.
