I remember in the mid to late 80's there was a heap of wrestlers that would get smashed every week. I loved these guys...but who was the greatest ??
My all time favorite was Barry O.

1) Mike Jackson - Perennial Georgia Championship Wrestling jobber and Alabama Jr Champ
2) George South - Come on, he's in Legends
3) Pat Hutchinson - Famous Memphis jobber who had some angles with Lawler, Hart and Idol
4) Rocky King - Later part of the Freebirds
5) Pat Rose - Hey, I know him...a squash guy on Georgia Championship Wrestling for years
Today, no doubt, Savage T

Iron Mike Sharpe! This guy was maybe the most entertaining jobber ever. Loved his slapping himself on the back. Other notables: Barry O Jose Louis Rivera S.D. Jones (does he count? ;D)

good call Payback. How could I forget Iron Mike Sharp.
About 20 years ago the WWE toured here and one of the matches was Jose Luis vs A J Petruzzi...( I think thats how you spell it ) In Australia we love the heels....you should have seen AJ's face when the crowd roared as he came out ! It was priceless !!

Barry Horowitz is another I remember and I can't remember many so he must have been a pretty good bum. You have to throw Steve Lombardi in there too.

Yeah, I remember Barry O back in the 1980s with the WWF was billed from Las Vegas. But my personal favorite "bum" was probably the Brooklyn Brawler. But if he doesn't count, then I would probably say Iron Mike Sharpe.

Isn't it funny he was pushed hard in some areas, but a jobber in the WWF Actually, I'd love to play with a list of a guy who was really pushed in one area and a jobber in another

I can not believe no one has mentioned the greatest weekly jobber EVER. The incomparable Johnny RodzYeah, I am seriously looking forward to the day that Rodz (who has been signed with LOW for awhile) finally has his LOW card released. I would definitely use Rodz in my fed. I actually would also like to get some of these other guys such as Iron Mike Sharpe mentioned in this thread in LOW someday.

Here is my top ten- in no order. 1) Barry Horowitz (a.k.a. "Stretcher" Jack Hart) This guy was actually a good worker. His back slapping during intros was great. It was even on his warm up jacket! Had a decent run in GWF as "The Winner". 2) Barry O - Again a pretty good worker, well he is an Orton. Was the Masked Zodiac in Canada and had a good angle there. Give me an "O". 3) Johnny K-9 -Continuing with the concept of those workers who made some sort of sign during intros. K-9!!!!! 4) The Gambler - Not Kenny Rogers. Great WCW curtain puller. Had a pack of cards with him at all times because, you never know when a game will break out. 5) Iron Mike Sharpe - He wrestled Bob Backlund for the WWF belt in 80-81. He was a top tier guy. Then he became "Canada's greatest athlete" and holds the record for the longest arm injury ever-beating Cowboy Bob Orton by 15 years. 6) Cruel Connection 2 - You could throw so many masked wrestlers in here as WCW was famous for throwing a hood on some guy and filling time (Other recieving votes - The Blue Max, Ding Dongs, Star Warrior, Mr. JL, The Reaper) 7) Jose Luis Rivera - I'm at the Baltimore Civic Center and my buddies and I are leaving and we spot Jose-Luis. Chuck screams," Hey Rivera you suck. " With out missing a beat- Jose replies, "And so does your mother." Never laughed that hard again. For that sir you're on the list. 8) SD Jones - In a match against "The Giant" John Studd he delivered 18 headbutts (I counted). That's committment. 9) The Mulkeys - It would be impossible to make an LOW card for them. They delivered no offense. 10) Johnny Rodz - My dad would always say, "Yeah, he's unpredictable. You just don't what time he'll lose." Don't forget his long time tag partner - Jose Estrada.
