I'd agree with Bryan Danielson (beating Osamu Nishimura in the final ?) .
Looking at the photos Rougneck Ryan impressed me .

I just recently got some ROH footage from the last couple years and I have to say that Danielson is a great talent.

You'd think Danielson will be the obvious pick, so they probably pull a surprise on everyone.

You'd think Danielson will be the obvious pick, so they probably pull a surprise on everyone. I had thought about that too, Travis. The Observer has been saying that Danielson has been the plan all along. Since NWA doesn't have one national TV outlet and (hopefully!) doesn't follow WWE mentality, they'll stick with their original plan.

One you may know, Aaron Aguilera, was in the WWE for a cup of coffee as Carlito's sidekick Jesus

I honestly thought the same thing when I saw the line-ups the first time. I'm sure a lot of these guys are great indy workers, but I had only heard of about 6 of them. (I'd have to go back and look at the whole list.) One you may know, Aaron Aguilera, was in the WWE for a cup of coffee as Carlito's sidekick Jesus That's right. He's also currently in a commercial for Alltel cellular service. Brent Albright was also on Smackdown last year for "half a cup of coffee" as Gunner Scott.

I remeber Gunner Scott, but I can't picture Jesus.

I remeber Gunner Scott, but I can't picture Jesus. He was with Carlito, when he was still Caribbean Cool. When Carlito first came to Smackdown and won the U.S. title from Cena, they did a "stabbing angle" to take Cena off TV when he was actually filming The Marine. Jesus was Carlito's bodyguard at the time. When Carlito got injured and had to lose the belt back to Cena, Jesus started wrestling and was to fight Cena for the belt at Armageddon '04. But then Jesus got injured (I think a broken neck), got squashed by Cena at the PPV, so they could write him off for the injury, but was released a few months later.

I've never seen the commercial. I'll have to keep a look out A "half a cup"? Was it even that long? Seriously, I thought Albright was going to have a pretty good future because he was pushed super hard here in Ohio Valley. You can probably get a tad more familiar with the guys if you look them up on onlineworldofwrestling.com

I've never seen the commercial. I'll have to keep a look out Alltel's one of the big cell providers here in NE, so the commercial's on quite a bit. I had seen the ad and hadn't realized it was Jesus. I did think the guy looked like a wrestler (I thought of a taller version of the late Davey Boy Smith), but then saw somewhere that it's Jesus. A "half a cup"? Was it even that long? I think they brought him up last summer and he was back to OVW by the fall, then fired in typical WWE "we have no ideas because we have no talent to come up with ideas" fashion. (Sorry, I'm just sick of hearing that excuse for talented wrestlers, who WWE doesn't know how to use.) I remember seeing him as Gunner at least once. I didn't have UPN last summer, so I didn't see any Smackdown, but then when the CW started, I did get to see him at least once.
