What was your best wrestling moment of 2006 ? Think you got enough options Bazzy? I chose Edge winning the title when he cashed in the money in the bank. It was one of the few times in recent years that something unpredictable happened at a PPV. With all the internet moles out there it is hard to watch without already having a good idea what will happen.

With all the internet moles out there it is hard to watch without already having a good idea what will happen. Agreed. Plus, Edge deserved it.

I gotta go with Misterio winning the belt. For a fed that is known for having the bigger guys as champs this was great. Hopefully some of the better cruiserweights will be highlighted and maybe we will see a variety of champs instead of just some muscleheads.

I gotta go with Angle to TNA but it seems like since they first announced him its been going down hill for him.

I picked CM Punk in ECW. He was the 1st non-ECW legend or WWE guy to get a push there.

I voted for "Something in ROH", specifically the magic of KENTA vs. Danielson at Glory by Honor V Night Two. Just wrestling perfection.

The best moment in wrestling in 2006 was the final match between Cena and Edge where Cena FU'd Edge off the top of the ladder through 2 tables...
Now I know not everyone here orders PPV's, and maybe didn't see it, but it was the final culmination of the year's two biggest stars and the years biggest feud, not to mention a super fucking cool spot.
It was awesome.

"Best WRESTLING Moment"=Bryan Danielson v. KENTA. Long-term storytelling executed to perfection with believable, hard-hitting wrestling holds and maneuvers. And it didn't end in an elevated fireman's carry (or sloppy death valley driver, depending on your semantics). Although I do agree that this match (Edge/Cena) was one of the best Sports Entertainment/WWE moments of the year.

Sting didn't win the TNA title by DQ...

oh yeah that's right. he lost it by DQ to a heel. Not even my brain, at that moment, could grasp the stupidity of having a heel win the belt by DQ...so I guess subconsciously I just thought is was the face who won by DQ...
God TNA sucks.

Actually, a Face winning the belt by DQ would make even less sense...Heels are supposed to get the cheap wins...
