I have a feeling Carlito will win this hands down but I voted for Cena...
The fact that he made it through that weird period where he was booed at every card and came out of it more friggin popular than ever deserves mad props...
Show and Nitro are a great candidates as well...

Carlito takes this one, for in-ring work alone. Umaga...improved from what? I don't think the character has been around long enough to say he's improved at all. Cena: All I hear is boos, but my hearing is going after years of DJing . I'm not saying he's gotten any worse, but he hasn't gotten any better either. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. Hardy: still sucks. Edge: has grown into a bonafide top-tier guy. He was given the ball as the champ (twice) and has done well both times. It looks like he's going to be WWE's go-to heel for a long time to come. Nitro: I for one thought his "speech" with Melina was pretty good. Melina is carrying him though. Otherwise, he's just Chris Masters with greasy hair. Show: It's not that he's improved; WWE has just made him look a lot better as ECW champ. His act was getting stale so this was the shot in the arm that he needed.

I'm going to go with Cena...You all may question this from a wrestling point of view, but the Reason is because he has a movie coming out...Becoming a "Breakout Star" ( I think that's what they're called) shows me far more improvement than any of the others... If there are any doubts, how many others on the list will be the Star of a movie in the next ever..? Well, maybe Edge, come to think of it...But Cena's there now...When Edge's movie comes out, I'll say he's that year's most improved...

I cast my vote for other and give the nod to the Spirit Squad. To me, when they first debuted they were pure televised Ebola. Now I don’t mind them. That’s the most any WWE guy or guys have advanced.

Gotta say Carlito. Cena was already good and champion in the past year so I can't say he's gotten better because was totally awesome already.
Carlito has really gotten better in the ring and is quickly becoming a WWE Title contender, not to mention one of the most over faces in the WWE. The Backcracker is awesome and I was very suprised to see him be able to do all these high flying moves, too.

I've got to go with Carlito, for the exact reasons that Payback listed.

Look at Bobby Lashley six or 7 months ago. Watch him now.
Then try to tell me it's anybody but him. Working with Finlay, Regal and Booker has turned him into a very good pro wrestler.

Cena: All I hear is boos, but my hearing is going after years of DJing . I'm not saying he's gotten any worse, but he hasn't gotten any better either. This isn't necessarily a bad thing Que? I have noticed for the last few weeks that the crowd goes nuts cheering for Cena. The Mixed 50/50 reaction seems to be done and the procena side has won. Sure when they're in Canada Cena will likely be booed at an ECW level, but it won't matter. Cena's now a full fledge fan favorite at almost every venue. Sure he'll change back into a heel, eventually; he'll probably flip sides several times in his career. Most longterm characters do. But, this civil war, over this incarnation of John Cena, is about over. General Robert E Cena sux has been pushed out and Appomattox is in his sight. I'm sure when Cena does turn heel most of the Cena haters will feel vindicated, ignoring that the times will probably have changed, and that they did it because this incarnation of Cena had gotten stale and not because it was a mistake to create this version of Cena. (by the way big bri this second paragraph, not actually directed at you specifically) As far as the most improved , I'll have to think about it

No problem, I was only gloating anyway's. ;D To be fair, when Cena first debut with the white rapper gimmick, I really, really didn't like it. But, Cena proved to be too good in the roll to dislike for to long. Plus it's hard to hate on someone you respect.

Cena is so over it's sick. he has cemented himself along next to Hogan, Austin, and Rock as one of the all-time greatest superstars in WWF/E histroy...
anyone who thinks otherwise (imo) simply hates his gimmick and does so because they are probably a little racist inside...
not trying to start anything, but it's true.

Cena has a way to go before I'd put him in the same echelon as the guys you listed. He could get there one day, but that day is years ahead. I think Cena is funny at times, but when he flip flops from comedian to "I'm a thug" it drives me nuts. I DJ a handful of high school dances throughout the year, and I get so many "wanna-be thugs" bugging me throughout the night, wearing their "bling" and asking me when I'm gonna "play their s**t", it gets really tiresome, especially when these kids live in the middle of the sticks in Ohio for crying out loud. When I hear Cena talk, it reminds me of these posers. So, let me get this straight. Anyone who doesn't like Cena must be partially racist, BUT YOU'RE NOT TRYING TO START ANYTHING? For not trying to start anything, that's a pretty bold statement. I don't like Umaga either (seriously, I'm not into the guy; I'm not just using him because you worship him). Does this mean I must hate Samoans too? Don't even get me started on Finley! That dirty mick!

Cena's definitely up with those guy's. But ,I'm going to wait before I say he's cemented. If (and when) he's still any wears near this level of popularity at the next WrestleMania, then he's in permanently.
As for most improved I'm going to go with the revitalized Big show Edging out Carlito and Nitro.

Big Show over Edge. Carlito and Cena have both become bigger stars than they were a year ago but I could see that coming. Big Show and Edge are a surprise for me. Show may not be as over as the other guys, but he gets my vote for most improved.

I voted for Cena. Both he & Carlito have shown the most improvement. The more that Cena drops that silly "Vanilla Ice" act, the more of his talent we are able to see.
