Should ECW add a secondary belt?
I say Yes, but only a tag belt. It's only an hour show and the tag division could use a boost. If ECW is suppose to be the launching ground for newer talent, Tag Teams have shone to be a good starting point.

Currently I would say no . First I think you need tag team belts . But before that some tag teams and tag matches . Also start to push other single guys now .

The FBI, Doring & Roadkill, uhhhhh.....
2 teams makes the ECW tag division stronger than the Raw tag division...and Just below Smackdown.

For what tag teams in ECW? Like Offspring said They have Roadkill and Doring (the last ECW tag Champs) , The FBI, and Justin Credible. Thats 2 and a half good tag teams right there. They would probably need only 4-6 good teams to have a solid division. Sorta like WCW did when they had Harlem Heat, the Stud Stable, Pretty Wonderful, The Blue Bloods, and Public Enemy. And that was it, but it was still enough for one of the best times the tag division had. Put a young guy with underused veteran and in 4 to 6 weeks they might have something. |

I had heard that there would be a vampire "stable" with a tag team and a singles wrestler, but supposedly Gangrel was cut loose. Who knows.

I say both, give CM Punk the TV title until he's ready for the ECW World title and you could have a great angle with Doring and Roadkill saying they were never beat for the titles so they should continue to be th champs.

just before ECW went on TV I heard WWE signed the SAT's to join the ECW brand

Good post Punk. CM Punk would be a great 'first' TV champ while the 6 teams you mentioned are legit tag team and could carry a title.
Wow, if ECW had 2 hours... it's shaping up to be the best of the 3 brands!

I doesn't make sense to have anymore than the ECW Heavyweight title right now. It has little to do with tv time and more to do with the size of the roster. They need more wrestlers before they add a secondary title, or they need more tag-teams before they add a tag-team championship. It makes the championship seem less competitive with a small roster. Also I think WWE needs to worry about the tag-division on raw and/or smackdown! before they worry about ECW's tag-division.
