OK, lets cut to the chase...who is winning the big match at One Night Stand and walking out as WWE champion?
I thought, as recently as a few weeks ago, that RVD would win the title at ONS, and lose it back to Cena at Vengeance. Now I don't think the title change happens at all.

If RVD were challenging the Smackdown champion, it might be conceivable for RVD to win the match and then trash it in favor of the ECW title.
But Vince is not going to trash his A-Show for that. Not even if he's 100% behind bringing back ECW.

Cena. Only because there is no way (ok a 1% chance) that Vince will have the WWE Title change hands on an ECW PPV. I also think that RVD, as popular as he is, would have a hard time carrying the WWE Title. The best he can hope for is a disputed win, with him dropping the re-match (with a held up Title) on RAW and then moving to ECW (near) full time.
I wouldn't turn Cena yet...

Neither...
They pin each other or double DQ or other no contest and Heyman recognizes RVD as ECW Champ and Vince says Cena is WWE Champ

Cena will win it. It will likely end up a huge mess but Cena will win. Vince isn't letting ECW get over that big.

But I agree that this match will either end with or generate some sort of controversy. I could very easily see RVD winninng, but Vince (or whoever) nullifying it by stating that the WWE title can't be defended on a non-WWE show, MitB stupilations of "anywhere, any time" be damned. But I don't think that's what will actually happen. My pick is Cena to win, but probably not without some sort of pro-WWE/anti-ECW interference (perhaps known to Cena, perhaps not).

Cena, although I'm a huge RVD fan but not the belt off Cena

I'm not s ure how Vince will pull it off, but there will be controversy. Probably a huge schmozz ending where locker rooms just empty and interfere.

I wonder if he (RVD) is gonna do a Shane Douglas (he binned the NWA title many years ago) . RVD hates the way the WWE has treated RVD character . What better way than on an ECW PPV ? . Win the belt , but then bin it . RVD says "He wants the real title , the ECW Heavyweight belt" . Stepping up a RVD v JBL ECW 1st PPV main event for the belt ?

I like Bazzy's angle best. Put RVD over Cena and have him trash the belt! Joey Styles would be going crazy with his anti-WWE ranting. Then bring in JBL and Lawler to slam ECW and the feud is on!

Looks like they would not have a re-match because Edge is suppose to be the # 1 contender at Vengeance. Perhaps, if RVD wins, it could be turned into a triple threat match. However, I would like to see RVD win, I think it's more likely that Cena will win. Here's a possibity, Fonzy is the ref for the match, and he turns on RVD.

Rvd Will win the belt, because Vince who is behind ECW needs a champions for his fed so give the belt to RVd adn then at the wwe next ppv have Cena vs Edge for the title. It makes alot of sense for Vince to do this way. Lets just and see.

Can a "no contest" happen in ECW? The mMore likely event is a time limit draw.
