I was just wondering, during the period of the Monday Night Wars between the WWF and WCW, what was your favorite wrestling federation? Although I liked them all, I think my personal favorite during the 90s was WCW.

Personally I said all of them equally are the same . They all had good and bad bits in them . I just love wrestling and will give any federation a chance .

When the nWo angle started, I watched WCW a lot. But, I never liked the storylines.
As soon as the buzz about WM 14 with Tyson started, I watched WWF from then on. I would tune in to the 1st hour of Nitro, because it was on at 8pm but then I'd watch WWF.

I always loved the WWF even during the down years, but WCW was great when the NWO first arrived. When I first discovered ECW on a public access channel here in Va I loved it because it was such a cool alternative to what I was use to. I was hooked for a pretty long time after that, I thought Heyman's creativity was awesome with how he could take a mid card WWF guy and turn him into a very good ECW character.
I'd still say the WWF though, once Austin hit the scene it was over.

I'd always preferred the old NWA/Jim Crockett promotions over the WWF and hoped they would someday be able to bridge the gap between the two, so I was extremely happy when Nitro started winning the ratings war.
It was the greatest time ever to be a wrestling fan because the two would pull all kinds of stuff (big title changes, huge swerves, etc.) on regular TV that used to only occur on PPVs.
I'd been an Austin fan ever since he was a rookie in the USWA, so to see him rocket into superstardom (especially after being constantly snubbed in WCW) was just awesome. It was great to see him finally get what he deserved for being such a great worker.
For me, the Flair-Bischoff feud kept WCW a little hotter than WWF, but once the "Flair In The Mental Ward" storyline hit, WWF simply had the better product, as much as I hate to admit it.
I wasn't able to watch ECW on regular TV but did buy a couple of their PPVs. It was cool, but I wasn't familiar enough with their midcarders to really get into it.
I wasn't on the net at the time either, and am glad for it, as I think it might have spoiled a few key historical moments for me.
Ahhhhhhhhh, to go back..........

I watched WCW exclusively during the 90's. The WWE got too raunchy (and still is at times) for my taste, so Nitro was my weekly wrestling fix.

I was a big ECW fan. The WWE in the late 90s was really good. Wasn't too big a fan of WCW past 93.

i grew up watching the WWE w/ my father so I got to say the WWE was my favorite. But WCW is right up there you know. I loved watching it too. As for the ECW I never lived somewhere I could pick it up or else there is a good chance that it would have been my number one. Anyone ever seen the GWF. I think it stood for Global Wrestling Federation, I picked that up for a while. That was where I first got hooked on Stunning Steve. I think that was still his gimmick, that was before he went to WCW.

ECW all the way! I watched WCW and WWF back in the day but at midnight I would always try to catch ECW. When I heard the buzz and saw it I was in awe. Personal favorite moment I caught on TV was a Sandman Vs.Cactus Jack and Sandman went sliding off a table headfirst into a concrete floor. Ohhh the memories.

As a young kid growing up during this great time in wrestling I fell for the hate the heel and love the face thing. I was such a hulkamaniac back then and loved rooting for him but this was until he turned heel into "Hollywood" hulk. I hated this and was so mad at him for doing that. So week after week i watched WCW waiting for the return of the old yellow and red. This kept me watching WCW over WWF most of the time so I and going to have to go with WCW.
