With all of the debate about Cena going on as of late, I figured let's just cut to the chase and see where he stands.
I respect him as a performer, but I just hate the character and want to see him be punished.

I always liked Cena since his first face / tweener run. Only time I didn't like him was when he was hanging around B2 and Rodney Mack. Since then, he has wrestled well, and even more so, he's been hilarious on the mic, especially against Edge and Lita.

I like him. Actually, since the fans have been "against" him, I've actuallly found myself pulling for him more!

He's always been awesome.
I remember years ago watching Smackdown with Keeper and John Cena in his red trunks was fighting Deacon Batista.
Me and Keeper came to the conclusion that both guys would Main Event a WM within 5 years.
We were right. He was awesome then...and he's awesome now.
Fans that don't think Cena should be champ, who think he is this terrible worker with this terrible gimmick, don't understand this business.

I flip flop a bit. Most of the times, he's pretty good, but sometimes he can get on my nerves.

He's not one of my favorites, and never has been. I'm a much bigger Batista fan (he's probably my favorite over the last few years). But Cena is good enough in the ring to be carried, and great on the mic. So I like him.

I think hes great and like Gatekeeper said, now that hes catching some flak, i actually cheer for him more.

He's alright the best 'mic' man they got right now...and that's a sad state of wrestling today...His work is so so..But he bleeds well so that's a plus....Still I cringe when I have to think of him in the same thought as other WWF/E Champions...

Not much of a wrestler, but a dynamic personality who is great on the mic and one of my favorite interviews. I can't understand why the fans have turned on him so quickly.
