Here's a challenge for all you creative people out there...
WWE vs. TNA, one ppv card, 8 matches...
The only stipulation being that HHH vs. Jeff Jarrett is the MAIN EVENT (or somewhere near the top of the card)...
the last 7 are up to you...
who's first?

HHH vs Jarrett
- HHH wins when Jarrett tries to set up the screwjob and HHH shatters his guitar with the sledgehammer ala Sting and the ball bat. A quick sledgehammer shot to the gut followed by the Pedigree finishes it.
AMW vs MNM
- AMW with the Death Sentence, although Melina gets the upper hand over Gail Kim in a cat fight before being kissed by James Storm and spanked by Chris Harris.
Undertaker vs Abyss - Some kind of gimmick match
- Abyss hits the Shock Treatment and the Black Hole Slam, but UT won't go down. UT hits the Tombstone, but James Mitchell neutralizes the referee. UT takes out Mitchell and catches a charging Abyss, but when he goes for the Tombstone again, Abyss slides down, shoves him off and hits the Black Hole Slam for the shocking three count.
Lashley vs Monty Brown
- Lashley stuns Monty by steeling himself for the Pounce, and rocks Brown backwards as he, himself goes flying from the impact. This shakes Brown's confidence and the Alpha Male is soon Dominated.
Christian vs Edge
- Christian plays the face in this one, 'natch. Unfortunately, the happy go lucky comedy babyface gets beaten by the dead serious, driven, Rated R Superstar.
AJ vs Shelton vs Daniels vs RVD
- The highlight reel to end all highlight reels ends with a double asai reverse DDT from AJ on the two WWE guys, and a Pele kick out of nowhere that stops Daniels from stealing the win as AJ takes this one home with a cover on Shelton.
Sting/Team 3D/Rhino vs Cena/Batista/Kane/Big Show
- Cena, early in his career, was often compared to Sting and they lock it up in the opening. Cena's tendency to get turned means the crowd shifts very pro TNA, leaving Sting's team working face against the WWE contingent...Dave Batista tags in, cleaning house and ultimately finishing off Rhino with the Batista Bomb.
Samoa Joe vs Chris Benoit
- Stiffest match of the night...Joe's chest looks like a massive bruise and Benoit bleeds profusely from the mouth and nose as these two savages beat each other nearly to death. Benoit hits the Rolling Germans and goes up top...but underestimates Joe's resilience...and Joe catches him before he can hit the flying headbutt, crushing him with the Muscle Buster. Joe slaps on the Kokina Clutch...and it is the longest fight in that move Joe has ever seen as Chris Benoit very nearly reaches the ropes...only to pass out to the "Undefeated Samoan Submission Machine".

John Cena vs. Konnan... electrified steel cage death match, ring suspended over a pool of man eating sharks, and the bottom of the ring falls out after 5 minutes. Since the cage is electrified, that would make it hard for them to hang on.

Hmmm, a tough challenge indeed. I'll go one better and tell who i'd book to win and the match times!
----------
Match 1) X Division Title: Chris Daniels vs. AJ Styles vs. Paul London vs. Paul Birchill
I'll start the show with a high flying 4 way match. Styles comes out with the title in a solid opener. 15:00
Match 2) Tag Titles: AMW vs. MNM
A classic tag match. AMW play the faces. MNM score the win with the Snapshot. 9:00
Match 3) Rhyno vs. Bobby Lashley
Power vs. Power. The two big men battle to a double countout as they brawl to the back. 7:00
Match 4) Tag Team Tables Match: Team 3D vs. The Mexicools
Team 3D have lots of experience with this match, and THe Mexicools can provide some exciting, high flying spots. Team 3D score the win. 10:00
Match 5) Abyss vs. Kane
Another big power vs. power match. This one would feature lots of brawling around the ring, and maybe some weapon spots during a ref bump. Kane wins it with a tombstone. 12:00
Match 6) Submission Match: Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle
These two tear into each other. Joe spends the match kicking Angle into oblivion and going for the chokeout. Angle works the legs and continually tries for the anklelock. Finally, Kurt catches Joe in the ankle lock....and Joe passes out. 28:00
Match 7) NWA Title: Christian Cage vs. Randy Orton
I remember these two having a match on Raw a year or so ago that I just loved. Lots of good solid wrestling with Cage getting the pin. 20:00
Match 8) Street Fight: Jeff Jarrett vs. HHH
I like Hunter, I'm not a big Jarrett fan...I like WWE, not a huge TNA fan...so....yeah. Hunter wins a wild brawl with lots and lots of weapons by hitting the Pedigree at say the 18:00 mark.

Just when you thought that these "dream matches" could never happen when WWE and WCW were seperate entities....then one goes down, one buys the other one out, and voila! We have some dream matches. It could happen with TNA down the road, but let's hope not. I'd like to see them rise to be contenders and give us competiton.
I think Abyss and Undertaker would be a great match.
Monty vs. Lashley
MNM vs. AMW
Edge vs. Christopher Daniels
Samoa Joe vs. Angle
Benoit vs. Daniels
anything could happen...it could be cool to see.

Gregory Helms VS. Chris Sabin - Give it to Sabin, I like him. Have him be the first TNA wrestler to hold the WWE cruiserweight title Tag-team Turmoil, AMW, James Gang, Kane and Bigshow, MNM, Team 3D, and Gymini. Winners: Kane and Big Show. Can you seriously see anyone else win? Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy. Matt by forfeit, Jeff is a no-show. Rhyno vs. JBL. Good match but JBL has to win Daniels vs. Benoit. Give it to Daniels. K-dawg vs. Mysterio - Rey wins Christian vs. Cena. One PPV match I was really looking forward to seeing was Christian VS. Cena for the WWE Title. They set the match up very well, starting with the "rap-off" at the Royal Rumble 05. As soon as Cena was drafted to raw, it looked like they would be squaring off one-on-one, but, unfortunetly, Jericho was added to the match. This time they can battle one-on-one and Cena wins! Sabu vs. Shane Mcmahon - Hey, why not? They both can fly! Sabu wins Abyss vs. RVD - with the help of James Mitchell, Abyss wins Edge Vs. The Alpha Male - Edge wins Steiner Vs. Batista - Batista (obviously) Sting vs. Kurt Angle - That would be a very interesting match. Give it to Angle by submission Triple H Vs Jarrett - no contest - both refuse to job to the other

That build-up featured one of my all-time favorite wrestling moments: Capn'C: Tomko, give me a beat! Tomko: No.

Great topic Swarm. I will steal a couple of matches from others, but here is my card:
Jeff Jarrett vs. Triple H Triple H wins, when Vince comes out and gives JJ a low blow as he is about to hit HHH with the guitar, setting up the Pedigree. Vince gets the last laugh on Jeff.
Legends Dream Match Sting vs. Undertaker Double DQ...can you honestly see either of these guys laying down for the other?
Christian vs. Edge Match of the night, with about 10 false finishes. In the end Rhyno comes out and tries to Gore Edge, but mistakenly hits Christian. Allwoing Edge to pick up the win.
Abyss vs. Kane The week before the match Kane is assulted by Abyss and James Mitchell, scaring his face and forcing him to come to the PPV with his old mask on. In the end though Kane picks up the win with the choke slam.
MNM vs. AMW Gotta go with AWM here, after mistimed interference from Melina.
AJ Styles vs. RVD Can you say Spot Fest? AJ picks up the win after Christopher Daniels pushes RVD off the top rope when trying the 5 star frogsplash.
Lashley vs. Monty Brown Long plodding big man battle that ends when Monty misses the pounce and Lashley hits the Dominator.
Finisher Match Petey Williams vs. Paul Burchill Battle of the two most unlikely to happen in real life finishers. Team Canada gets involved, yada yada yada...Williams wins.
Other features:
Rap battle between John Cena and Konnan. Ends when both guys are unmercifully booed out of the building.
Chris Masters takes on Samoa Joe in the Masterlock challenge. Joe looks like he is about to break it when Big Pappa Pump comes out and nails Masters and puts him in the Camel Clutch, while screaming..."Stop stealing my gimmick!"
Some T&A match featuring the bimbos from both shows. Doesn't really matter who wins.

I meant first WWE cruiserweight champion while on the TNA roster, kind of like the way Mike Awesome won the WWE hardcore title while he was technically a WCW wrestler. Other former WCW wrestlers won the WWE hardcore title, like Ray Traylor, (aka Big Bossman) and Mick Foley, but not while they were part of WCW the way Mike Awesome was in the invasion angle.

Joe v. Benoit would bring the house down in an arena full of 'smart' fans. Maybe a TNA PPV Main Event in 8 months? Probably not...
Lashley v. Monty Brown was another good one! Same with Cage v. Edge. Same with UT/Abyss...though UT would win! Nice work Tommy...again!

Thanks..
As you may have noticed, I tried to book a show that had the feds splitting it half and half...if UT must win, fine...then Brown goes over Lashley, no big...=)
