Macho Man would destroy Cena (1988 version...Cena would be a mid-carder in 88 at the most).
It would be a closer match if it were Savage (circa 99) vs. Cena...but Savage still. I loved Team Maddness !!!

but apart from the deathjump elbow . What was so good about Randy Savage ? . This match would bore me . If you've seen any of his matches as InterContinental Champ, you would've seen one of the best wrestlers in wrestling at the time. His match against Steamboat at WM 3 is very highly regarded among not only fans, but wrestlers as well. Many have mentioned that they view that match as one of the best. In his early days Savage was very agile and put on some very fast-paced, exciting matches with many aerial moves. He was one of the 1st guys to be considered a high flyer who became Heavyweight Champ

I am sorry Soug , but apart from the deathjump elbow . What was so good about Randy Savage ? . This match would bore me . you've got to be kidding me!!! ? Savage was so far ahead of his time!!! How many others back then did what he did? Not only was he brilliant in the ring , but very entertaining with the mic. As for matches...I cant think of a boring one he was ever in! ( Maybe when he feuded with Andre). But his matches with Steamboat, Hogan , Million Dollar Man were amazing. He even made the Ultimate Warrior look good!!! To me, pound for pound, Savage is the greatest wrestler/ entertainer ever!!!

Man, I one of my favorite moves all time was when Savage would grab his opponent by the hair, then jump over the top rope, clotheslining his opponent on the top rope. He was a great athlete.

He was a great athlete. that was awesome.....nobody did it like him back then. Even the simple things, like his knee drop, looked awesome!

\Even his brother would beat the crapper. Cena's rap vs Lanny Poffo's poetry? That would make me want to pull a "Lunchtime Suicide". Btw, how tasteless are those segments. I am all for comedy in wrestling, but they are not funny, just morbid.

I have to go with the Macho Man. I really wish Savage, instead of Cena, was getting a dvd released this year. I would buy a Savage dvd even before I bought Dusty Rhodes's dvd that is coming out this year.

Boy have I started trouble again ? ha ha . Okay I will hold my hands up to WM3 v Ricky Steamboat . 1 of the greatest matches ever at WM . Also his feud with Hogan (was interesting) & with Flair in WCW . But for me personally? . I thought he was boring , with just a big ego .

did anyone ever see the interview by the pool?( Savage, Elizabeth & Mean Gene) Where promoters kept ringing offering the Macho Man money to fight? He eventually told Elizabeth the money meant nothing that the promoters could bring their wrestlers to his house and he would beat them for nothing on the lawn!! hilarious stuff!!!
