After reading the ROADKILL thread this made me wonder...it seems like some people are upset when a wrestler they like signs with the WWE, for the fact that the wrestler may now be in-eligible to sign a Legends contract w/ Tom.
I'm all for Tom signing whoever he can, (in fact, he has signed someone I'm a HUGE fan of, but I can't spill it...) but it comes down to this...
do you want to see one of your favorite wrestlers:
a) sign a dream-come-true contract with the greatest and most powerful wrestling organization on Earth, making good $$$ for he and his family, where you can see him on TV every week.
or
b) not be signed by the WWE, where he is free to sign a "Legends" contract, so you can throw tiny dice at a picture of him.
The secret guy Tom ha signed, to me, is the BEST Legends signing yet. He will no doubt be pushed for my LOW Heavyweight Title immediatly...but if this guy were still in his prime (he may be, he may not be...I'm not saying...) I'd want to see him "go" in the ring, on RAW or Smackdown.

Personally I would want the wrestler to sign with the WWE and take care of himself and his family. In the long run, it might even help make a future Legends card of that wrestler even more exciting. But I don't think the WWE should be able to retain the rights of wrestlers (for instance the Dudleys-even if they were remiss in not signing the paperwork or whatever to trademark their name, yet I also sort of like their new names in TNA) whose names were created before they even signed on with the WWE.

I agree. It sucks that Roadkill wont be coming to LOW anytime soon but for him it is a much better move. A man needs to support himself and his family and for most wrestlers WWE is their dream. You can't fault a guy for achieving his dream.

I put sign a contract, but it was what I would like to see. In reality, of course, they're idiots if they didn't take a chance and sign.
I just hate it that someone like Roadkill will lose his gimmick, which is entertaining, by this time next year when he's released.

I voted for signing with Tom but you can't fault anyone for someone signing with the WWE to support their families
But we can get both if Tom signs them first

Sign with Vince. It's nice to know that these guys can make a decent living for that time. Wrestlers don't last forever so when they retire/get fired, then Tom will have all the chance in the world to sign them.
