I had to choose Perfect. Hart, Michaels, Warrior etc...it only seemed like a small stepping stone to the WWF Title.
HTM, if he wasn't as hated as he was, probably wouldn't have held it as long, but I see your point in choosing him.

Has to be Bret Hart. Not only does he have a cool name but he had a great match with EVEYONE faced. He is still my all-time favorite wrestler to watch wrestle and his 1991 SS match where he won the I-C title from Hennig was one of the best matches ever.

There are a lot of great wrestlers on the list, but I think that Tito Santana was the greatest Intercontinental Champion. He maintained a rigorous title defense schedule and had a very memorable feud with Greg Valentine.

I forgot to add Macho Man.He would be #2 on my list right behind HTM, and right before Bret Hart.

My vote is for Razor Ramon. I don't really know why, I just feel he is the best I-C champion ever.

HTM without a doubt. He made the belt seem really important. Savage did too, but not to the extent of HTM.

Honkeytonkman and Randy Savage are definitly two of the best Intercontinental Champions of all time- I also really wish Steamboat could have held the belt longer. Also, I think LOW's own Don Muraco (I can't wait to replay his feud with Snuka this Winter) and Greg Valentine are among the best I-C champions ever. But, for some reason, the guy I usually think of whenever I hear the term Intercontinental Champion is Tito Santana. Arriba!

I can't believe I forgot about The Macho Man! He was one of the best. I'd rank him just below Hart and Hennig with HTM behind those guys.
I think Tito was a good champ but he was champ just before the TV boom of wrestling which I think hurts his case. His Valentine feud WAS a classic.

HTM is the I-C title. Everyone remembers Honkey. The personification of 80s wrestling!
