I was curious about what everyone did for the span of feuds?
A solid game year just feels too long to me. I was thinking something like 3 cards for bad blood to see if it turns into anything more...6 cards for a minor feud...and 12 cards for a major one...
I guess I am feeling like guys get lost in their feuds after a while..and the original motivation for feuding is lost.
Any thoughts on how you do this would be great!
Thanks

I usually use the 'official' feuds as something to 'come back to' in between each wrestler's current feud. For example, Perhaps Chaos would feud with Pulsar Prime for a few cards or more depending on how intriguing it is, but when that is over, there's always gonna be Alpha Force to duke it out with for awhile.

I normally start out with the storyline. If one guy is winning the fued all the time then I would have them feud with someone else. Makeing up feuds is easy, keeping it interesting is the hard part.

I think its best to just go with the flow and see what develops.

I tend to side with jefft on this one. The main book feud is something that I look at as a long standing feud, but it doesnt mean the wrestlers involved can't branch off into other feuds before coming back to revisit their original feud.
Two guys can be involved in a longstanding "feud" over the years, but each time it ignites you can change it up slightly. Give them a new motivation for continuing the feud.
And while the by the book feuds are usually really fun, sometimes the best stuff comes out of those whacky little side feuds you never planned on happening.

You can't have 2 guys only feud with each other in any given edition. That would be repetitive and boring.
I have found it's best not to over-plan stuff. I usually go by "feel."
If a feud is getting hot - keep it going and up the ante at the next PPV.
If a feud is cooling off - go in a new direction.

My feuds kind of go on for around 5 or 6 cards before they have a gimmick match to end it. Should someone get injured in that match it adds more bad blood and continues the feud. For example, I'm currently going through 2120 with FDF Vs Central Command. After 7 shows, there has been at least 2 matches involving the FDF Vs CC feud per show and in two shows time I'm going to temporarily end it with a Wargames match. I wouldn't be surprised if the feud continues because Endgame is my heavyweight champ and guys like Encubus, Epoch and Kill Prey are sure to be after him.
