As some of you have probably noticed by a lot of my topics, I am/was a big Demolition fan. However, I have recently all but given up on ever seeing an "official" Demolition set. For some reason, I don't feel right using bootlegs. I know that a lot of people have put some really great bootlegs out, but....... So, I am thinking about bringing in Brute/Massacre from the COTG game as my "new" Demolition, and using Axis The Demolisher (Masked Superstar) as the manager who brought them in. I have noticed that Bill Eadie has trained some teams over the years as "new" Demolition's and this is the story that I am thinking about using here. So, my question is, what does everybody think of it?

Sadly I think youre looking at giving the idea up . I believe Demolition themselves are at legal war with Vince , over who owns the rights . Vince created the idea but Demolition where the idea . Just like who created Hulk Hogan . Vince or Hulkster himself . So if Vince has got problems , I can not see Tom signing them up .
I just have 4 legends federations (hold on before everyone spits their coffee everywhere and screams '4') . Two are just imaginary federations , but I use them as where un-signed wrestlers are wrestling . They will not join my 2 wrestling federations because of better contracts or they are happy there . etc . So if Demolition did ever sign up . You could use that angle over contract problems for years ? .

As much as I would like to see them...some Legends just aren't to meant to be in the game. With Vince pretty much owning the rights to the name...sadly, it probably won't happen.
Sometimes, we gotta go with bootlegs for our favorites..

In my Legends fed, I have used Brute and Massacre as the Gladiators to battle the Road Warriors.

yeah I Just dont see it happening. the artwork on the bootlegs I use are awesome so that for me makes up for not having the offical cards.

I use the bootlegs and have to say they are hit and miss, sometimes dominant, in my recent fed I plan to keep going they seem to be in a slump, it would be great if Tom could get them and make some official cards, even though I like most bootlegs.

I've only watched Demolition on YouTube because I didn't watch wrestling back then. However, what I was able to see really made me mark out for them I don't use many bootlegs in my fed but I am thinking of using them. So far, the only bootleg I have ready to debut in my fed is "Whipper" Billy Watson, but Demolition may be on the way in a few months. I'm not too upset on who we don't get due to great bootlegs. However, they are some guys I wish would be "official."

Demolition is only Ax and Smah, let it go, no one can fill the shoes they left and no one ever should. Road warriors are Hawk and Animal. No Hawk and some one else or Animal and some one else. Let it go and don't tarnish the memory of Demolition, they did that enough in the later part of the tag team history

Just out of curiousity, is there a bootleg of Demolition. I created my own, but it doesn't do the team justice.

The best that you'll ever possibly get is an Eadie/Darsow tag team in the official game that pays tribute to their Demolition era without using the tag team name. Eadie is obviously already in the game, and I believe that Darsow indicated that he would think about it.
It's been done with BG James and Kip James- so you know it's possible, just without the Demo name itself.
