There has been various threads about wrestlers already in sets , that also played a different gimmick . Tom has already done some with Jimmy Valiant & Ted Dibiase . Jim Steel talked about an alternative to Virgil . Just wondering if there was an alternative set . A.K.A (Also Known As) , would you buy it ? .

Why not. A set of them would probably lessen the need to include them in full sets and seveal have had alternative IDs that could probably find use.

if it had a lot of guys with completely different personalities. I mean for instance if Brad Armstrong could be Badstreet or his spidey ripoff.( i realize they might not be able to use him now because of his WWE commitment but he was the first that popped into my head).
So I guess basicaly if it featured a lot of guys like Bob Armstrong or Brody under their masked gimmicks I might go for it.

Like Swarm Says I will buy any set Tom produces without question....
personally i would like to have 1 or 2 per set instead of a whole set of AKA........
I enjoyed getting Mid-South Dibiase.......but its still all about the new guys...

It's a real split. You'll have those who want them all in one set(in case they don't want to get the set) and those who will want them interspersed so more new guys will come.

I would buy it but I probably wouldn't use any of them. I would rather have a set of jobbers or midgets or something. Any new wrestler over a redo of someone we already have.

I'd rather have them as SE cards....but I'd buy everyone of them up!

If we ever had an AKA set, I would buy it and probably even preorder it- just like I preorder all of the Legends stuff that comes out. But, to be honest, I would prefer that the alter ego cards be periodically included in the sets containing mostly new wrestlers.

It does make me wonder though how many more sets are out there. Seems some of the wells are drying up.

Troy...I've given Tom tons of signings. I know a few others have...but I hope he hasn't been burned out

No doubt, LOW will keep on going and get bigger and better. There are a ton of avenues that still haven't been explored yet.
As for the topic at hand, I don't think that an AKA set would do as well as a normal set. I think that having 1 or 2 show up in a regular set (aka Mid-South DiBiase, Boogie Woogie Man, Killer Kowalski) and the occassional SE card with a different persona is a better route to go.

Well th ere are a lot of guys out there for sure......and I admit I'm up for a lot of them, but a lot of the guys who could headline a set seem to be falling to the wayside. At G-Con, the top guy is a tag wrestler.......it's not the same as when the top guys for the next set were say the Midnights with Cornette. I'm hoping it is, I'm just worried that it isn't.
