Yeah, this'll probably end in flames...but it's not meant that way.
Should there be a GWF vs LOW conversion chart? Let me clarify below:
Argument #1 says that the CotG wrestlers would be above and beyond the LOW stars, due to advanced medicine, evolution, etc.
Argument #2 says that there should be a "level" playing field. After all, it's just a game, and the card design and dice rolls should be the deal breakers.
Argument #3 says that a chart makes sense, but only if there's a similar chart for "classic" wrestlers vs "modern" wrestlers, such as Frank Gotch being downgraded when compared to Sabu, for instance.
Argument #4 says yes...but only if it favors the legit stars of wrestling over the fictional stars of the CotG universe, under the mindset that saying, say, Thantos is better than Nick Bockwinkel is a little demeaning to a multitime World champion.
Argument #5 says that, despite the blurb in the Legends handbook about playing the Road Warriors vs Gladiators dream match, or the blurb on the website about running hybrid feds, that LWF and CotG wrestlers should never interact, even though they use the same game system.
So...what say you?

When we started creating the LOW stats, I think everyone on the creative team was aiming at parity with the first few original COTG game editions. Obviously, many of the cards in New Beginnings are on a much higher level.
The only way I could see an LOW card coming close to them would be if we ever signed the Sammartino, Thesz, Gagne, Hogan, Flair types.

I think the only conversion chart should be for women wrestlers. I would never mix LOW and COTG wrestlers but I think they should be on the same level just like how Gotch is on the same level as the more modern stars.

not a fan of mixing the cards. the only COTG card I use with my LOW guys is the Wolf card that came with the intro set and that was recently because I was curious how he would do. I gave him a different idenity I called him Wolf Bronski the German superstar. I dont plan on pushing him towards the title unless he goes on a huge winning streak.

Greg Valentine was in the GWF and his card was STRONGER than his LOW card. Take that for what it's worth.

Level playing field if you insist on mixing them.

But Avalanche and LOW's King Kong Bundy were more different from each other than Greg Valentine's two cards were.

Seems cool to find out, but the dice figure everything out so it shouldnt matter.

That's mostly due to Avalanche not being exactly King Kong Bundy(mind you I love Avalanche which is why the CPC has signed him to a part time contract in 2121)
