Since it may be a while (if ever) before we get Demolition in the LOW, should I bring the original Gladiators Brute & Massacre to feud with the Road Warriors? I thought about using them as Road Warrior wanna-bees from Big Time Wrestling (a sister promotion of my LWF) or I could just use them as Demolition. What do you guys think?

Why not bring them in as Demolition

I do not see anything wrong with it at all. Although it is only temporarily, I actually have the Gladiators (Brute and Massacre) in my LOW fed and they are going to be wrestling the Road Warriors this weekend. I am only using them for the next two weeks until I have my Sammartino Invitational over Memorial Day weekend.
Brute and Massacre are just one of the teams invited from all over the country to compete with wrestlers in my Major League Wrestling fed in a 40 man tag team tournament held over three days. All the invited outside teams are the tag team champions for their territories. I am having Brute and Massacre represent the Mid Atlantic territory as its tag team champions.
While I have some other COTG teams also entered into the Sammartino Invitational, overall I personally normally tend to not combine COTG and LOW wrestlers over the long term. The only exceptions are COTG women and jobbers because there are not enough official LOW cards in those two categories yet. I also use Splatter because he is my favorite COTG wrestler.
If you decide to use them, I probably would not call them Demolition because I think Demolition is really a separate team even if we never get them as official cards. Instead I would call them the Gladiators but of course that decision is up to you.

Before LOW came out I played GWf and loved the Gladiators, then LOW came out and I thought it would be fun to combine the two. This is just me but Gwf wrestlers were always losing and not lasting long in the ring against the LOW wrestlers so I made a choice and stopped playing the GWF in favor of LOW. I hope it works for you if you use he tow games together

Now I wouldn't combine the two...but really, why couldn't the Gladiators face the Road Warriors. As far as we know, the GWF is a real fed with real wrestlers.
Plus, in Legends, we have Frank Gotch, a wrestler from the EARLY 1900s that can face the Sandman, a wrestler from the late 1900s!!! Their prime wrestling careers were nearly 100 years apart. Heck, from the Sandman's prime, the GWF will be starting in like 70 years. That's closer to Sandman's prime than Gotch's prime!
So if a prime Johnny and Greg Valentine can team up, or Strangler Lewis can take on Dan Severn....why couldn't the Gladiators be part of Legends!?!?

Yep.
Only I doubt I would use them as Warriors from another planet, but as Road Warrior-clones (not literally) from another federation. They could very well be the Blade Runners, Demolition, or the Master Blasters for that matter. So, I'll probably end up using them. Now, which editions do I use?

I would bring them in as a one time only dream match type thing with The Road Warriors... best 2 out of 3... of course it would have to be Brute and Massacre post Cleansing

I think their most successful combo, and most famous, would be the 2095 SE card.
Here's a little storyline. You could have Thakur appear as the commissioner for EGW (Extreme Gladiator Wrestling), as a type of shoot federation where he has hundreds of minions fighting for the honor of him.
He said he has heard of these Road Warriors that have copied everything his minions have created, down to the face paint to the total annihilation of opponents. Thus, he's going to show his federation, and Gladiators, are far superior than these "Road Warrior" Gladiator knockoffs.
He has three teams lined up to take their shot at the Warriors, Brute & Massacre, Thunder & Overkill and Paralyze & Havok....and we'll see how tough these Warriors are.
Just my thought.....
Let us know how it goes.
BTW...one of the first matches I had when I purchased Legends was Hawk & Animal vs Brute and Massacre. About a year ago...I posted a thread of dream Legends vs GWF matchups. Maybe we need to do that again....

If you are going to use Brute and Massacre, I agree that you should use the cards with the stats from the 2095 SE (same exact stats as their 2090 Invasion updates). That is the version I am using for the Gladiators in my Sammartino Invitational in two weeks.

Sure bring them in and just call the The Gladiators. I never got into GWF because of the sci-fi stuff. I've read in plenty of feds where people use those cards and just tweak the names to bring them back to Earth. Seems fine and it gives you other wrestlers to choose from.

I voted yes because anything is possible within the confines of the imagination, however I'm a purest who might have difficulty adding GWF wrestlers and then maybe having to start over because I want just 1 continuos history, but that's just a preference. I want to start a fed with wrestlers from the GWF who are 'human' from my editions going up to 2100. From there it might be ok to have a dream card from time to time and I wouldn't mind having a LOW wrestler enter that fed but not the other way round.

I say no. I am a purist, though. Like in Back to the Future, I think it would mess up the space-time-continu-um (sp?).

Anyone can do what they want......I think the cards, though balanced for GWF, seem a tad tough for LOW

Anyone can do what they want......I think the cards, though balanced for GWF, seem a tad tough for LOW I am using the Gladiators temporarily in my Legends fed - Major League Wrestling (MLW) as an outside tag team champion competing in my Sammartino Invitational- a 40 man tag team tournament. They did really well in their bracket but lost in the Quarter Finals to Bobo Brazil and Mil Mascaras. So the Gladiators, especially their 2090 cards which is what I was using, are tough but certainly not unbeatable in LOW.

Ok,,,,after playing around a bit.........the 2090 cards are ok......its the the later cleansed stuff (like Overkill) that is I guess Overkill for me.... I'd forgotten how tame the 2090 set actually is............ I am a purist.......but i do use bootlegs......so what the heck....... its worth a look..... But i would leave out the whole outerspace storyline...... Maybe they are from Oakland and are Raider Fans......
