The Richard van Lesbian show was pretty awesome. You could only get it through pay-per-view, though, and back in the 50s and 60s, the technology and reach was pretty limited. Only got to 27 households, IIRC. They brought it back on TV Land with clothes CGIed in and all the naughty bits edited out. A shame really, but at least it's getting a wider audience these days.
But I'm voting for MTM anyway, not based on looks, but on the swear filter.
