Come on , all blokes (?)(Not to sure about females ?) pretend to play an instrument in an imaginary band . Or coping your favourite songs . What band member do you pretend/wish you are/were ? , Like air guitar ?

I always wished I could play the drums. I can play a fair amount of piano/keyboards and used to do guitar and bass, although my skills are a little rusty. And I'm not too bad as a singer if I apply myself, but I'd never consider auditioning as one.
I'm just not coordinated enough to be a drummer, so it's a case of wanting what you can't get.

As a fan of the J. Geils Band, "Magic" was always my fave band member. He played the harmonica. (Met him once!!!)
So I would have to go with "harmonica"!

I would be the singer.
My son is more accomplished in his music and plays guitar and keyboards. We'll not allow him to get a drum set for one specific reason:
Whoever owns the drum set hosts the band practices!

That's quite true, Dave. And I'm perhaps the only dad ever in history who's going to encourage one of his sons to take up the drums, because if they're going to be in a band (which given both my and my wife's past musical involvement, is a distinct possibility), I want to maybe go downstairs and jam with them every once in a while. If they'll let me!

I said bass because I actually play bass and used to play in a band when I lived in seattle (though we only had two gigs at parties =). Damn druggie drummer.)
