Trust me, if Mickey had been a part of this particular 80's Karaoke mix, there would be no need for the poll.
Neat, post 500.

I w ent for "We Built This City" as well. I actually like "Come on Eileen" and I grew up on "The Gambler" (though I like Coward of the County, Luicille, and Rueben James better).

I realize Erasure is regarded as a band for men of certain proclivities.
That said, I ain't ashamed to say I like 'em.
"Uptown Girl" for me. I'm not a Billy Joel fan in the first place, but that song's particularly noxious to me.

Another one that should be on the list is "Who Can It Be Now" by Men at Work! OMG, what an aweful song.

I like "Who Can it Be Now" and more than a few other Men at Work songs. I was going to try and come up with some songs from the eighties I hate but I really don't want them floating around in my head right now. I'm only hoping "Who Can it Be Now" is dancing around in WTIC's head..... Dancing just like Men at Work dance around in the "Down Under" video. Just like that One that gets in my head and I can't get rid of is Men w/o Hat's "Saftey Dance". I also get A-Ha's "Take On Me" stuck in there but I love that song and video. Same goes for Wang Chung.

Thanks, Werner.
Safety Dance, however, is better as the Weird Al version, the Brady Bunch!

I dont remember the reason but it might have had something to do with his ex wife being in the video

Well, I'm not crying about its loss from the stage. Safety Dance is awesome! The album that's from is still one of my favorites from the 80s, and I consider myself something of a connoisseur of 80s music. Here's another of my favorites from any time period, and all I'll have to say is one word to get it in your head: "SCIENCE!"
