Man, after reading Tom's Brain (directly from Sav-T's home state of S.C.) I'm so excited about 2122! So Thantos and Star Warrior will somehow be involved? Interesting. Endgame pissing Massif off? Very Interesting.
Man, 2121 was a blast, but just reading those tidbits makes 2122 seem like it will blow the lid off the whole thing!

MUSINGS FROM MRYTLE

Well, a week in the sunshine away from the unseasonable cold of the northeast has done wonders for SUBVERSION 2122. I sat outside on the beach all day long writing and writing and writing. I've got a sunburn to show for it, but hey, that's hardcore authorship!

Things were already looking up before I left for Myrtle Beach on April 8. I played my first-ever online match against Kris Osk and I had goose bumps all over. It reminded me of playing my first-ever tabletop matches back in 1985 when I originally created the GWF. This time around I managed Thantos to a DQ victory over Star Warrior. Kris better get ready...we'll need to have a rematch!

I wrote about this match for my column for the next GWF PROMOTER newsletter, which mails in early May. Needless to say COTGONLINE is the most exciting thing to happen to CotG since...well, the breaking of the Galactic Code!

Meanwhile SUBVERSION 2122 will be released at GalactiCon on July 6-8. Here's some early teasers about SUBVERSION 2122 (look for MORE in GWF PROMOTER next month).

Mother Superior will make some claims about her relationships with Bloodline and Encubus that would have Oprah going crazy if she was still alive in 2122. It's so wild that Star Warrior and Thantos can't keep quiet...they'll get involved too!

Then there's Sultana, the controversial newcomer who has targeted Mother Superior. You'll learn more about Sultana in 2122 including some bold moves she'll be making as a wrestler! Needless to say the feuds involving Divided We Fall are going to heat up!

But wait! The incredible Mother Superior storyline is only a part of the suspense coming in 2122! What is the secret of Monolith? Did he really have an Aethran Cleansing? And if yes then who smuggled the technology to Epoch to give to Monolith?

There's no better word to describe the 2122 game edition than SUBVERSION. Can anyone be trusted? Will Epoch's plan to take over the GWF be successful? Which team lost the Milky Way Tag Tournament and will be forced to disband? And just what is Endgame doing that is making Commissioner Massif so angry?

Man, I haven't even gotten to the AniMen, Vin Strutter, Nosfera, Kill Prey, Big Things, and all the rest!

Boy do I love writing this stuff! I can always tell a game edition is going to rock when I can't wait to play. Darryl Banks is busy working on the card art, so you know it'll be great.

That's my report from the beaches of South Carolina all the way to the craters of Titan. There's less than three months till the release of SUBVERSION 2122...and I can't wait already.

I love all the mystery with the Mother Superior and Sultana characters. Very interested to see where this goes.

Whenever there's something developing in the Ani-men, it's always exciting.

I really like Epoch. He's one of my favorite characters that Tom has ever created because he's so devious but I'm thinking this whole Monolith deal may blow up in his face.

I think Mother Superior and that storyline is one of the coolest COTG things.....

The AniMen have been one of my favorite groups since Invasion.....I'm hoping Slave Beast gets a cool new persona. And I really hope Swarm gets an upgrade. He's been one of my top stars, and just captured my top title from Endgame -- it'd be cool for his card to get even better.

And I agree about Epoch. He's not some rockstar wrestler like Mandrill was, but he's such a cunning, well-written character -- he's a great villain. I hope he continues to figure prominently.

And as for Thantos and Star Warrior weighing in on M.S......that oughta be VERY cool.

I don't know if I posted this before, or just thought it, but I think Bloodline and Encubus are half-brothers, and Mother Superior is their mother.

The Ani-men definately need something, they're doing horrible for me, I think a Slave Beast update/upgrade could be awesome.

I wouldn't mind an upgrade, face turn for Amazing Mann either, though it may be too soon for that.

I'm pretty certain either Havoc or Vengeance (perhaps both) are in on the Monolith thing.. that should be good

I think thats what has been hinted at, but I'm guessing Tom will probably go in a completely different direction in the end. No inside knowledge on my part, just a guess.
