I was going to mention this on C.C.'s Stooge thread about the infamous eye poke: The local NBC station used to show the Stooges on Saturday afternoons about noontime. Everytime Moe went to poke Curly in the eyes, the screen went black. I guess the Powers That Be didn't want little kids imitating Moe with the eye poke thing! LOL!
And yeah, the Stooges were GREAT!

No, they just weren't for me.
But I personally did sort of like watching that old TV show "The Honeymooners."

Man I grew up loving the 3 stooges. Our local station here in michigan (Ch 50) used to show them every Saturday morning at like 8 am for an hour. They also showed them for an hour late on Friday nights. My dad is a huge fan, so I grew up loving them too.
If you ever get a chance, read "Moe Howard and the 3 Stooges". It's an autobiography written by Moe Howard, and it's fantastic. He really gets into some of the dirt you wouldn't expect, and is very open.
