Interesting that there are 3 votes for 'no' and it doesn't seem that any of them have facilitated in this discussion. Actually, five of the people who have voted haven't expressed their vote in this thread. Mark, BDS, aquinas, Offy, Doom, and TM have all confirmed their "yes" votes, leaving five votes (including two more "yes" votes and all the "no" votes) private.

Well, would you want it in a public forum that you wish you weren't married to your wife? Doesn't seem like a good plan. I voted yes, BTW, like Offy, I got married pretty early too, but its all worked out great.

Well, the poll question really isn't stated well.
Poll Question: if you could go back in time, would you marry or stay single"" ?
And it's a Yes or No answer
The answers should have been
Marry or stay Single

I'm still single, so I guess I don't really have a vote. I plan on getting married, though.

Doom did. But he also once posted a poll about degrading names to call "fat" girls, so that could have been his problem right there. I imagine having that kind of mind set about women would be a sure fire way of getting kicked to the curb. I don't know. That's really weird as Doom said he would get married again, but I guess it gave you a chance to take a shot at him. It wasn't a shot. It was a fact. I like Doom. Just pointing out facts. Just like last time. Don't let "facts" upset you. It's not a shot if it's true. Regardless of how you take it. Just like last time. Welcome back btw.

I apologize to anyone that was offended by it. I was wrong and admit it so when are you going to apologize for making fun of kids?

Saying he posted he wouldn't, and then bringing up poll he did to say that's why he has a problem with women? So the only fact was that he did a poll. Sorry I got confused when one fact is put into a line of rubbish. BTW, Thanks for the welcome back. Good to see you again as well.

I would not trade being married for the world. It's nice when you meet that certain someone who complements you perfectly. ;D

Yeah, the question is confusing.....yes: you would marry again....no: you wouldnt ... Anyway, for the record....I wouldnt. The funny thing is, neither would my wife !! Thats not to say we're not happy....we are. It's just not what we expected I guess. Sure we have a great time together. She's beautiful ( real hot actually), smart....what else could I want ? Well lets see... First off, I dont think humans are monogamous by nature. Now dont get me wrong. That doesnt mean we all cheat. I have never cheated, and hopeully never will. I say hopefully because you never know what lies ahead. And I'm sure a lot of the guys who voted they would marry...have been tempted. It's only natural to be tempted by something you cant have. Second....all you single guys, enjoy your freedom !! Because no matter waht the others on this board say...it becomes restricted...BIG TIME ! While you're dating it's not so bad. Once you're married it's..."Who was that? Where you going ? What time will you be back ? "And so on. Again not a real bad thing. Just something you have to get used to. And here's the big one. Again a lot may disagree ( they are lying !! ;D ) Your partner changes the very day after the wedding !! I'n not saying they become monsters or anything....they just change. Maybe because I dont have children I hold these opinions. ( even though a lot of people, that I know, with children, wouldnt get married again.....and that includes women !! ) Who knows ? Anyway that's just my 2 cents worth. God bless everyone who would do it again. I think that's awesome. To the singles remember...Marriage is an institution, and something you have to be committed too.....which sounds a little nuts !! In my opinion of course.

Being engaged, I really have nothing to 'go back' to. However as it stands, my fiancee and I agree that we're not going to have a formal wedding; no papers signed, nothing official. We've seen too much trouble that develops once that paper is signed. That's nothing against the people here whom are married. I give you all the credit in the world. We just decided the formal part is not for us.
Also, since we're no longer Christian, we're just going to have an informal ceremony, saying vows, or something like that.
But that's just us.
Take care,
Jay

While I wish my wife and I could have got to know each other more before we got married, I'd definitely marry her again.

Now where are the other two??!!! Thanks Jon. The reason I can say it honestly is because the wife and I are on the same page. We're realists. So our marriage is great....of course you have problems ...but in the 9 years we've been married ( 14 together in total ), we've had 2 BIG fights. Now that's pretty good.

One was she said I was spending too much time with my buddies. I said then and there.....I'm happy to cut the time down but not out. If you dont like it....there's the door ! The second was about another friend of mine. I've been friends with a girl for over 20 years ( since school ) My wife was convinced she had the hots for me . Apparently she"showed me too much affection ". So I told my friend and she cut out the hugs etc... Like I said Mark....not too bad . Oh, let me ask you guys.....have you female friends ? And are your wives cool with it ?
