Where do I go ?

Are you ready for this one ? . Weeks ago Suzanne sorted out her mum's 60th birthday bash party . Me not taking in any dates in my head (Its the mother-in-law) . I follow Widnes Vikings rugby league team . They beat Castleford Tigers 18-12 (this sunday , same day at Vengeance PPV) to get to the grand final at Blackpool . Where they are playing Whitehaven .Suzanne says "Am I going to the final ?" . I was about 95% yes . I was planning to go on the train its cheaper and easier . Only £12 (about $18) . It would cost more in my car (Petrol or gas in USA) and with parking charges etc (also you can have a few beers at the match , if you travel on the train) . We go to the train station to get a time table . As the day (monday) goes on its looking 100% like I am going . Watching Vengeance PPV on video (I taped it) . Suzanne says "when is the final ?" . I answer with "Sunday 15th July" (same day as TNA's Victory Road PPV) . Suzanne says "Youre joking , that's the same day as my mother's birthday bash ." So now what do I do ? . Follow my team and upset the family . Or forget the match and go to the birthday bash . The game is live on TV , but there is nothing like been there live to witness the event . Widnes have never won this cup before (and are the favourites to win it) .

Went to the world series when the Jays won, for a sports fan there is no replacement. Plus it is the mother-in-law aren't you supposed to piss her off. I think that is an actual guy rule.

So today was the day . We went for the meal (3 course) . Guess who was the only one with 3 clean plates/dishes . Oh course ME (No wonder his overweight ha ha)(Mushroom soup / Chicken Kiev & Belgium waffle with chocolate ice cream) What no jelly ? .

;D By the way the Grand Final finished up Whitehaven 6 Widnes Vikings (My team) 54 . Yes another trophy coming home . So I was double happy and so proud

Good decision dude. I'm glad you didn't follow the (bad) advice others here gave you. The game would have been fun, but I bet if you'd gone you'd have missed out on...um..."games" with the Misses for a bit.

I would have let Suzanne go to the party and you go to the game! At least she's representing Plus your sack will always be in a box, delivered to you at Christmas time I'm sure.
