What do you think is the best baseball movie ever made?
For me, it's Field of Dreams but I think there have been lots of other good ones too such as Eight Men Out, Bull Durham, The Natural, and Pride of the Yankees.

Besides the ones you listed in your response, the rest don't even deserve to make the poll.
Field of Dreams, followed VERY closely by The Natural.

Field of Dreams comes in first, with Bull Durham right behind it.

A lot of those are "true" stories. They're frequently embellished. Anyways, I went with the only one I've actually seen though I'd love to see Pride of the Yankees at some point.

In my opinion, Pride of the Yankees is by far the best sports movie ever made!

[glow=red,2,300]MAJOR LEAGUE[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]MAJOR LEAGUE[/glow] I forget all about Major League. And, although I would personally still go with movies such as Field of Dreams and Pride of the Yankees over it, I would have put it on the poll if I remembered it because I liked the first Major League better than some of the other movies I actually put on this poll. I still remember when Major League came out and I wasn't quite old enough that the theater would let me into an R rated movie without a parent or guardian. So me and my friend went to a multiplex and bought tickets to see The Dream Team which was starting at the same time but instead walked right into Major League. For Major League or anything else you like not on the poll , just select other.

I'm a big Major League fan. Yo bartender, Jobu needs a refill. I love Major League. I can't believe I forgot all about it when voting either. I'd put it right up there with Field of Dreams, although obviously for different reasons. "Juuust a bit outside, he tried the corner and missed..."

"How would you like to manage the Cleveland Indians?" "Errr, can ya hang on, I got a fella on the other line about some white walls...."
"I'm Willie Mays Hayes. Hit like Mays, run like Hayes."
Hits a crappy, soft bouncer.
"Yeah, well you may run like Hayes, but you like Sh*t." ;D

Some of my favorite quotes from Major League came from the announcer Harry Doyle played by Bob Uecker:
Doyle: "That's all we got, one g*****n hit?" Doyle's co-worker: "You can't say g*****n on the air." Doyle: "Don't worry, nobody is listening anyway."
Doyle: "The post-game show is brought to you by..." Doyle (after looking through the papers on his desk): "Christ, I can't find it. To hell with it."

Even though I don't actually think its the best movie on the list, I am voting for Love of the Game because Costner is a pitcher for the Tigers.
My all time favorite baseball movie is a movie called Tiger Town that starred Roy Schneider. Excellent!

Natural naturaly!
I can live will Field of Dreams winning, but not Bull Durham.
How did Major League not make the poll? It shouldn't win, but should have been on the poll.
