I've just finished year 2119 of my fed and am taking a quick break from playing while I'm enjoying my Easter holidays (Happy Easter to all by the way) while I wait for my order to come in. I decided to look back at what has happened and think about my own progress in the fed. The one (very long) storyline which I have enjoyed the most out of playing involves Slave Beast.
While Epoch was busy with a violent feud against Minotaur, I decided to do a mini storyline for Slave Beast. Knowing that Epoch had his hands full SB decided to make a name for himself and become the breakout star. So he challenged Endgame to a match which he lost. However the next show was the first annual Cyber Survivor match which involved both Endgam and Slave Beast on opposing teams. Thanks to a double team with Havoc, Slave Beast pinned Endgame to eliminate him. Knowing I was on to something with such an unique duo of SB and Havoc I had them teaming up on a regular occassion.
This did not go down well with Disaster and Paralyze, who just happened to be the current Tag Team champions. They mocked Havoc for teaming up with a pathetic outsider an challenged them to a match with the belts on the line. Surprise, surprise, Havoc pinned Disaster to win the belts!
While Slave beast become the underdog face of the GWF and Havoc having a boost in popularity, Epoch was nearby deciding to make his mark. He teamed up with Sly Drury and attacked the champs. Epoch boasted how he "allowed" Slave Beast to fend for himself while he was busy and decided that he now had to pay him back. What he wanted was the Tag Team titles! This led to a 4 team (also involving The Guardians & The Troubleshooters) Ultimate X match where in a fitting moment, Epoch used the Heart Punch on Slave Beast while he was trailing the cables before grabbing the belts for the win. Havoc and Slave Beast lost the rematch and had to disband.
Slave Beast was on his own for a while doing okay until he got into a feud against the Greatest Show In The Galaxy. He had to go into the feud alone because Havoc was his only friend. The Animen still had beef with him (excuse the pun, I only just realised it now). Slave beast eventually lost to Steele Freak and was forced to become Vin Strutter's latest attraction. The next show, the first Tri-Force tournament Slave Beast was part of the Greatest Show's trio. He first appeared in a cage looking worse for wear and being whipped by Vin Strutter. However, this was a trick. During the chaos a 6 man brawl can bring, SB suddenly grabbed a stun rod and beat Tauran unconscious with it. He then gave Tauran a Sleeper Hold while acting cocky, winning the match. SB was infact happy to work with Vin Strutter! He kind of became the Mr. Kennedy of the fed as he quickly learned Vin Strutter's showbiz style of performance and used his own over the top introductions for himself.
In the end when everything died down, I kind of pressed the reset button on Slave Beast. Word went around that there was a bounty on Vin Strutter's head. Sly Drury tried as he could to take Vin Strutter out but he couldn't catch him. When Epoch faced Slave Beast, Sly Drury chased Vin Strutter into the ring where SB gave him a low blow and Epoch did the rest of the damage. Epoch and Slave Beast are now back together as the Colonizers while Sly Drury insists on working solo after Epoch 'stole' his bounty.
Do you have any favourite storylines in your fed?

I'm running a storyline right now with Phantasy breaking away from The Troubleshooters. Her reasoning is she was not on TV for awhile with no explanation but during that time Lorelei befriended her. Since her return she recaptured the women's title (3rd time) and told The Troubleshooters she was done hanging with people who didn't care for her.
Well, two weeks ago game time (Card 18) she pulled someone from a locker room and the camera was unable to see who it was. Last week (Card 19) she challenged the Troubleshooters to a Titan Death Match with her new team. This week she showed up with a new look (All leather and shorter hair) to introduce her team of Slave Beast and Steel Freak (The Outcasts).
Slave Beast over the last few weeks has been bitterly abused by Epoch. On Card 18 he was forced into a Handicap match with The SOD....and won when he pinned The Betrayer. Card 19 he again was put into a Handicap Match against the SOD and this time, he pinned Tanck causing a severe rift between the SOD. Phantasy took advantage of his disgruntled situation and talked him into joining with her. This will create quite an interesting story as Epoch and Vin Strutter are not going to be pleased with Phantasy.

Slave Beast seems to bring out people's creativity! He's involved in my favorite original storyline too. In mid 2119 Swarm went on a losing streak and became very frustrated. She Devil ended up costing him a couple of matches when she tried to help him with distractions and interference, so Swarm blew up and fired her as manager of the Animen. He also called off their romantic relationship. She Devil was crushed, but she kept trying to get back with Swarm. During one of her attempts to meet up with Swarm backstage she witnessed Epoch screaming at Slave Beast, and she took pity on the poor creature telling him he didn't deserve such abuse. Over the next few weeks Slave Beast became quite enamored with She Devil, regularly appearing at ringside for her matches and helping her win! He even helped her defeat Shann Ra to win the women's title! She Devil, for her part, didn't really seem romantically interested in Slave Beast, but was quite happy to use him to win matches and to make Swarm jealous. With all this going on Slave Beast began slacking in his duties for Epoch, even choosing to appear at ringside for She Devil instead of Epoch a few times. Finally, Epoch had enough and he called Slave Beast and She Devil into the ring. He gave Slave Beast an ultimatum....he could either go with his "little girlfriend" and gain Epoch's wrath and hatred, or he could return to his Master. Slave Beast loved She Devil, but his loyalty to Epoch won out. Epoch then forced Slave Beast to attack She Devil, and when he did so Swarm rushed out to make the save, reuniting with She Devil in the process. Sort of my own Randy/Liz moment

Well my favorite was years ago. Colossus was Galaxian Champion, and I was pushing him as the main hero of the fed. When he turned villain (I can't remember the year, but it was the CPC set), I did the same with him in my fed, making him go ballistic against the entire federation. Suddenly, matches against Genocide and Pegasus (which he used to have even fights with), turned out to be complete slaughters. Colossus went about 3 months with 7 or 8 title defenses, each ending with a hero left in a puddle of blood.
I was running out of heroes, so my friend persuaded me to turn Vengeance into an anti-hero and challenge Colossus. Since Colossus was calling himself The King of Galaxian, Vengeance started coming out to Metallica's "King Nothing," saying the champ was living on borrowed time. Week after week, Vengeance taunted the champ and counted down the days when he'd have his mighty fall. Colossus would find his dressing room draped with calenders and a music recorder playing "King Nothing." He'd find writing on his hovercar ("17 days...king..." It got to the point where the fans would chant the number of days until the pay per view to let Colossus know how much time he had left.
Unfortunately for Vengeance, Colossus crushed him at the pay per view. I was completely stunned by that result, but it as a funny twist so I let it go.
Take care,
Jay

Ive only been playing 2 yrs in game time..but for me it was when Apocalypse (my booter) did a one-man invasion of the WWE...shortly after his only pinfall loss against the Undertaker at the first Wrestlebash he demanded a rematch...he received no response...so he jumped through the parallax viewer which makes time travel possible in my fed....once there he destroyed Cena Hogan HHH...held Stephanie hostage...got his rematch and won!!!!

My current Avarice angle, with Janus the Overman as his manager, is turning out to be one of my favorite personal storylines....and I think part of it is having an 'audience' here on the forum. It's the first time in my fed's 20 year history that someone other than me is reading the results.
But the buildup to Avarice -- and then having the dice work and he's actually very successful thus far -- plus FINALLY finding a meaningful way to bring back my all-time fav, Janus -- everything is clicking well.
A recent runner-up would be my pairing of American Guy and Nosfera. It's a very uncertain partnership that could fall apart at any point. But they were good enough to actually thump the Gladiators in a feud!

One of my favorites involved American Guy groping Phantasy during a tag match between S&S and the Troubleshooters. Guy rolled a DQ outside the ring so when I typed up my results, I wrote that he had been DQ'd for hitting Muss with an american flag and then I wrote that he grabbed Phantasy's butt for good measure. Later on a future card, Phantasy accused Guy of sexual harrassment and filed suit against both Guy and the GWF. Commissioner Massif suspended Guy until the suit was settled. Soon, a masked wrestler with long blonde hair calling himself (get this) Mr. America began teaming with U.S. Male as the new Stars & Stripes. Massif was furious that Guy was flaunting his suspension and promised to unmask Mr. America and fire Guy Andrews for good. Mr. America was unmasked and it was revealed that he was in fact, Kal Jericho, a trainee at the GWF Zone and per a pre-match stipulation, the sexual harrassment suit was dropped, and Guy was re-instated. the best storyline you NEVER readthe end.

In 1995 or so...I ran with a rift in reality and everything was changing slowly...meaning planets were disappearing and if wrestlers were from there-they would to as well as memory of them...and just weird things like that...well, Scythe (a bootleg that I got from someone) and Mesmer tried to fix it but Mesmer mispronounced one of the syllables and reality shifted! For an entire summer, I ran alternative storylines like Alpha Force was actually thantos's son instead of Omega's... Justice ran a gig named Dark Justice (before he actually became that in TF's timeline)...the Andromedans were the warlike race rather than the Aethrans...Lord Nexus was killed during the Titan/CTA-102 war and the Fighting Titans were never formed...etc...etc...
When the GWF moved to Centra...since my fed is Earthbound, I had Aegis and the rest of that genre come from the future to stop Murdok's interference from destroying the earth in the future! Had them teleporting into the ring and etc (stole the name Flatline from Cable) ...Ravagers came in to enforce Murdok's will...
Had Bloodline being Star Warrior's illegitimate son even before TF put it in the official storyline...
This is just to name a few

My favorite original storyline has to be what is going on currently in my fed with the war of the seat of Commissioner. Every major heel has been after the seat. Originally Avarice took out the Commissioner and began booking the shows, then the Commissioner came back and began to punish Avarice for his actions. As a result of Avarice's firing most of the staff during his reign, Blazing Skull was next to injure the Commissioner. Then Nefarus was named Interim Commissioner and Anarchy's team (Blazing Skull) injured both Nefarus & Alpha Force in one Battlezone Match. Anarchy was in the seat for a while and Avarice was named the new Interim Commissioner to the surprise of everyone..but...Avarice is a major heel..and while the Commissioner thinks he can trust him, Avarice has formed my tribute to the Four Horseman with Anarchy, Blazing Skull, Thantos & Avarice.
