Galaxian Title?

As I've said, I play Legends more than COTG, but I finally have really gotten into New Beginning.

But I've always wondered, was it ever explained where the term Galaxian came from? I know it was used in the original set, but is it a made up word or does it have a special meaning? Are the tag and women's titles Galaxian Tag and Galaxian Women's Titles? Officially speaking I mean.

What I especially find interesting is that the New Beginning book doesn't use these terms. It uses GWF Heavyweight and GWF Tag-Team for instance.

Just wondering story wise if it was ever explained.
