As I am watching the World Series tonight, I am also really looking forward to the start of the NBA season that is just a week and a half away. I think I am going to order the NBA's League Pass sometime this week.
So who do you think will win the NBA Championship this year? Last year's champions, the Miami Heat return with basically the same roster intact. But the team I am pulling for is the Phoenix Suns because they have two former UNLV (where I went to college) Runnin' Rebels in Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks in their rotation. With a healthy Amare Stoudamire, the Suns are definitely a contender.

I'll go with a darkhorse andf say Cleveland. Last year, they gave the Pistons all they could handle and they reminded me of the '87 Pistons who were "learning to win."
LeBron is amazing and you always have a shot with that guy on your team.

I picked the Suns but this is gonna be a great year of NBA basketball...Their are a ton of teams with a chance to be good this year!! I will be getting League pass this week also (so I can watch those late night west coast games). I'm a huge Bucks fan, and hope they do well but they are in a real tough division! Oh yea watch out for the Bulls in the east they are gonna be right there!
tkx again, the dice don't lie!

About the Bucks, Michael Redd is an absolute gunner and one of my favorite players in the entire league! I saw Andrew Bogut play alot in college when he was at Utah because the Utes, like my school UNLV, are in the Mountain West Conference. Bogut's injury will hurt the Bucks who already traded Jamaal Magliore to Portland and (IMO) did not get much back in return. However, I really like the trade the Bucks made with Toronto by getting Charlie Villanueva (who finished second in last year's Rookie of the Year voting to Chris Paul) in return for TJ Ford. When I get League Pass, I will definitely watch some Bucks games this year.

I was going to say with a healthy Stoudamire, the Suns may be the favorite

Well, well, well, only one vote for them here (at least until some bandwagon jumper decides to come on board after the fact), and I'll let you know who it was. I can't bet against the Spurs. Nostradamus? Fah!

Good call. Just too bad you didn't make it in October.
