Maybe it's the memory of years gone by (or maybe it's the pessimistic Detroit Lions fan in me) but I have this sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that Michigan could possibly choke before the Ohio State game.
I mean, obviously they SHOULD win out and head into the showdown in Columbus with a ton of momentum ... but as any Michigan fan can tell you Michigan doesn't always do what they SHOULD. So far this year has a totally different feel than years past, so I hope I'm worried over nothing.
We really need to get past Iowa, then I'll feel a little better.

I disagree with that. Michigan typically stumbled early in the season and won out at this point. Iowa might give them a scare but I think that team is free falling. I don't see them losing to Ball State, Indiana or Northwestern.

Yeah, their problem in the past was losing early, especially in agame they shouldn't. They got past that hurdle. Usually by the last leg of the season they look a ton better then they look at the beginning. And OSU will probably remain the only tru test., and I actually think they've got a shot. Since they stop the run great and OSU isn't a great running team. And Mich can run the ball and OSU isn't a great run stopping team. They give up a lot of yards on the ground.
This game will be decided for OSU on whether Smith can escape the pressure and make something happen when that d puts on the heat.
