I'm going with Michigan. Not just because I'm from Michigan but USC never plays anybody during the season and they almost lost to Arizona St. West Virginia looks to be a great team, but again, haven't played anybody yet.

going to abstain from voting...however, USC DOES Play somebody...
Their three out of conference games...Arkansas (Ranked), Nebraska (Ranked) and Notre Dame (ranked)...Upcoming Conference games versus Cal and Oregon (both Ranked)... that is half the schedule...
And as i said previously...if the Big Ten, Big 12, Big East and SEC want to get some respect from the west coast, come and play the PAC-10 get some wins and then they can talk.

To be honest, the Big Ten doesnt need respect from the west coast or any coast for that matter. It's the oldest conference in college football and sports arguably the most tradition out of any existing conference. Teams have had trouble on the west coast, but Pac 10 teams have also had trouble playing on other teams' home turf.
USC is tough to say. They've looked unimpressive and have had to squeak out victories against competition that frankly...shouldn't be able to beat them or even keep it close.
Most of the Pac 10 teams, besides from USC haven't played anybody. Cal got roasted by Tenn and Oregon probably didn't beat Oklahoma. Besides from USC, their most impressive teams, Cal and Oregon don't look like they could beat other top teams in the country. (Ie the Cal/Tenn game and the Oklahoma/Oregon game)
Putting WV at no. 2 is a huge stretch. Their offense is strong but their defense if you watch it, is not on par with some of the better teams in the nation. Don't let your judgement be skewed by their margin of victory over cupcakes. They can't beat OSU, USC, Florida, Michigan or probably even Aurburn. At least I don't think so.
Michigan is No. 2 because of that defense. And if you don't believe it, watch the Penn St. game and take a gander at the 7 sacks and the -14 rushing yards allowed.
Happy valley was the loudest game I have watched thi syear. Those fans were out of control. That win again Penn St. was impressive.
