I know there are a ton that I didn't put on but that list would be a mile long.
So who's your favorite? I gotta go with Eddie Murphy with a close second to Will Farrell.
These guys were almost always funny every time on screen.

I voted Chris Farley, although I really like David Spade and Norm MacDonald.
Too bad the show is painful to watch now, compared to its peak (in my eyes) in the early to mid 90's.

The show was actually pretty good until the last 2 seasons. The last 2 seasons have been horrid to watch.
I think the group with Ferrell, Oteri, Shannon, Kattan, from the mid 90s to early 2000s had some great chemistry. I just don't see it with the cast over the past two seasons.
P.S. Isn't Will Ferrell becoming almost unbearable to watch now being in every other movie. I think he's going to start fading a quick quick death in the next few years

Being 24, Will Farrell was the man as I was growing up. His characters made SNL a weekly treat, and he has been missed since leaving.

I'll always think of him taking out a cell phone the size of a thimble... "It's Chloe!"

Dude how could you forget Mr. John Belushi in your poll? I know I'm probably in the minority here but I never thought John Belushi was a good actor. I always thought he was overrated and never believable because he was always too over-the-top for my liking.

IMO... When John Belushi was a crazy lunatic in Animal House, that was him pure comic genius it was when he tried to get serious or out of his element (Continential Divide) when he doenst quite cut it

Ferrell is amazing but I'm a huge Murray fan.

A bit of pedantry: Steve Martin was not a cast member. He just hosted so many times (17-20) that it only seemed like he was. I went with Murray, too, but only because Phil Hartman wasn't on the list. "I should want to cook Mr. Belvedere a simple meal. But I shouldn't want to cut into him, to tear the flesh, to wear the flesh, to be born unto new worlds where his flesh becomes my key..."

Have to go with Chris Farley. He was funny with things he said, and expressions. Damn shame he died. After him, its Eddie Murphy.

I know the list could go on forever, but it wouldn't be hard to remove a few of those people and throw Dana Carvey and Mike Myers on there. Still, I gotta go with Eddie Murphy.
