The greatest board game, in my humble opinion, is "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" board game from Milton Bradley. I don't know why the game didn't do better or get expansion boards, but me and my friends played the hell out The Hellmouth. Great stuff! I second the awesomeness of this game. In fact, it's the only game that ever compelled me to actually write a review of it for RPG.net. Just tremendous.

Risk probably. Did anybody here ever play Talisman? I used to love that game. That one and Heroes Quest, Battle Mastes, and Castles & Catapults...... I love fantasy war apperently.

The wife and I played an epic game of the Buffy boardgame last night. It lasted nearly two hours...but Evil (that would be me, of course) rose to the occassion and piked up the duke.

It's called Clue here Bazzy, and it's quite popular ( and I think it's been mentioned before in this thread.)

We loved Nightmare (the VHS game), and I'm sorry I lost it in the move. I need to get the DVD version.
My fiancee had Disney Monopoly...that was pretty fun, though I got some weird looks when I mentioned using my 4 trains to transport my "pixies dust."
Some friends introduced us to Apples to Apples. That was a lot of fun.
They also introduced us to Dirty Minds. If you want a good laugh, pick that one up. It's a trip!
Take care,
Jay

I liked Fireball Island a lot. That game was so much fun to play, it was easy and people used to get really mad when you rolled that fireball at them. It also had the coolest gameboard ever I think. Clue was a great game too. Guess Who, Monopoly and Battleship are also fun games.

I enjoy Clue a lot but I don't get to play often. It's not a popular choice with any of my groups of friends because I just win too much at it. We could sit down with a full group of players and play 100 times and I would at worst win the game 70 times.
Monopoly is a lot of fun but we can't really include new people in it. We're really cut throat about the game and the amount of trash talking really turns people off. I can't really blame them.

RISK killed itself in my opinion...2210 and Godstorm are good, any other is blah... We're playing Descent: Journey Into the Dark...AWESOME game...Expensive, but it's Fantasy Flight...You pay for quality...
