My fave simply because I am old enough 2 remember is 2005. I mean look at what they had to do when 4 in a row just to make the playoffs and had to go on the road then there was "The Immaculate Redemption" and of course Big Ben's shakiness at Super Bowl XL but the point is they won the damn thing!!!

Seattle fan here, while the Steelers are #2 and always have been (and always will be). Much as I would root for the Steelers under any other circumstances than what was in Super Bowl XL, and not that it would have made any difference in the final outcome of the game, but...
That was NOT a touchdown.

My first memories of the NFL were of "Mean" Joe Greene and that Coke commercial. So from a purely nostalgic pov, I vote for one of the teams from the 70's. 1978, I guess.

Very good team in 78 14-2 i believe that year oddly enough it was also the 1st yr of the 16 game schedule
