I think the White Sox might actually even have a stronger team this year than the team that won last year's World Series. I think trading El Duque to Arizona for Javier Vazquez upgrades their starting pitching which was already quite formidable with Buehrle, Freddy Garcia, Garland , and Jose Contreras. I also like their trade with Philadelphia in which they got Jim Thome for Aaron Rowand. It is going to be interesting to see how Brian Anderson, their rookie who is projected to start in center field, does this year.

The Dodgers made enough off season moves to try and solidify all the holes they had last years...and adding all the veterans means they had better make a big run this year year or it won't be for a while...
Of course, since i bleed Dodger Blue you know that i am the one who voted for them...as i have every past year and as i will every year when this poll comes out!

I'm gonna go with the Yankees. I think they will have a tough time if they meet up with the White Sox, but if anyone can do it, Steinbrenner's boys can; especially with the addition of Jesus in CF.
It's funny to see my beloved Tigers on the list. They haven't had a winning record since 1993 and haven't been in the playoffs since 1987! One can dream I suppose. ;D

Now, they were cleaning up the bathrooms at Ford Field after the big game, but they were there nonetheless. This is the year Gate, this is the year...

I'm going to go darkhorse and pick the Cleveland Indians. The last 2 years they have been awesome when all there young talent is clicking together. If they can stay consistent they can pull it off.

And they said cricket was hard to watch!! ;D I watched India v. Pakistan in cricket on PPV. I still don't know how the rules work or what anything means, but me and 2 buddies stayed up till 4 am watching it all week.(one guy actually read the rules online, but still didn't know what was going on) Then again when Baseball's regular season starts I'll be watching 3-4 games a day and hopefully going to Chase Field at least once a week to see my D-Backs! Keep the Faith

Wow, this poll is heating up. It looks like the Tigers, Orioles and Yankees are gonna be in a 3 team race for the pennant this year.
I wonder if ESPN will put a link to this poll on their website, as us experts couldn't possibly be wrong on this.
