You know soug, when you told that story, it reminded me of something. I don't know if you get Seinfeld in Australia, but there was an episode where they went to a New Jersey Devils hockey game. Elaine's boyfriend, Puddy, was a face painter. They won the game and he was all pumped up. He ran up to a car and started yelling, "We're the Devils....yahhhhhh..", with his tounge sticking out. One of the people in the car was, I think, this old Italian monk/priest. It scared the guy to death because he thought it was the devil! He ended up in the hospital.... Fun episode yeah have seen it!!!

The question should be, "has anyone painted their face up as KISS before?" I'm a guilty party A few years back when we were doing some outdoor training for the National Guard, we had to "camo up" one day, so my wisea$$ buddy talked us into doing KISS makeup instead. I tried my best to do Peter Criss, but it ended up looking more like the Ultimate Warrior. Needless to say, it got a big laugh out of everybody when we showed up for duty that morning.

The fake blood is easy to do. We tried the fire trick (my idea), but I couldn't keep the alcohol in my mouth long enough (I hate liquor). Granted we couldn't perform it during the show since we were indoors (we did have cheap pyro effects using flash paper and party poppers...worked well until I accidently dropped one in my friend's wig), so we just tried it out in the street.

Hell i've been a KISS fan since 1970's, saw my first KISS concert in 1978!!! I've seen them live at least 10 times and they rocked every time!!!Man when they toured w/ Slaughter a while back I went to 3 straight shows......I wish I still had all my old KISS stuff from albums and action figures......Still remember the shock of them unmasking(taking off the paint), and thinking it's all over now!!!! but they kept going and still put out some great tunes. AMEN to KISS u made my childhood great!!!!!

Unbelievable to think they wore make up for 10 years....and then unmasked and went for another 13 years before they "reunited"!! they seem they could go on forever....except that Paul Stanley has just had his 3rd hip replacement operation!!!
