As a Detroiter and being able to see every Pistons game on TV, this team (as long as they stay healthy) can win 65-70 games I think. They learned defense from Larry Brown, and now Flip Saunders has this team clicking on the offensive end.
They lead the NBA in 3-pt. FG's and Chauncey Billups is having a great season. Plus, when Lindsey Hunter comes back from his injury they get (as coach Flip said) Their best on-ball defender back.
I think a Detroit-San Antonio rematch is just about inevitable. The Spurs will be better than they were on Xmas due to getting Gnobli back, but the Pistons showed that not even Wade and Shaq are a match for them.

I am going with 60-65 wins. It is very possible for this Pistons team to win more than that, but I would never feel comfortable predicting more than 65 wins for any team.
Then again, Scottie Pippen says they can win 70, and he knows a little about what it takes to win in the NBA.

As long as they stay healthy, I don't see any reason Detroit can't win at least 65 games. At this point, Chauncy Billups certainly merits consideration for MVP. Although I have ben impressed with the continued improvement of the Cavaliers and personally believe Miami should not be counted out, the Pistons have been my pick to win the Eastern Conference since the start of the season.
In the West, I think the Spurs are still the best team but they currently need to out for Dallas who is now only one game behind them in their division. I'm also really impressed that Phoenix has won 19 games without Amare Stoudamire.
