Ever since I saw The Liverpool/Everton derby match on ESPN way back in early 80's...An saw how intense it was; much more than any rivalry . Here in the States.
Florida/Florida St. don't even match the intensity.

Florida/Florida St. don't even match the intensity. While i didn't see the match you are referring to, i can say that there are few rivalries in the States that can match up to some of the stuff i have seen in watching the Premiere League. Arsenal vs. Man U might be one of the greatest rivalries around the world...and let us not forget the Argentinian Boca Jr. vs. River Plate (pretty sure i spelled that wrong). If you have never seen these teams play, you have really never seen a rivalry game! But i do love the USC Vs. Notre Dame and USC vs. UCLA games there is a no love loss there! |
